Love our little beach here in Arkles bay. Dog friendly and reasonable amount of parking. I never find it crowded. The is a boat ramp, but can sometimes be hard to find parking for car and trailer. Safe swimming spot.

Love Arkles Bay, lovely beach with steady slope into the sea. Pontoon for the kids, toilets, showers and water. Set into a cove between the cliffs and sheltered from the rougher weather.

Beautiful little bay in a north shore suburb. Clean toilets , great parking. perfect swimming spot with kids with bay being shallow and fantastic fishing spot and beautiful views. walk on the ridge at low tide to the rock to fish from. Be careful when it high tide and u have to return in the dark.

Love this beach. Great views, love the rock pools, peaceful! Great place to take the family for a picnic just like we did. But be warned, at 5:30pm the winds can be up and blow your dinner away (which happened to us hahahahaha).

Nice beach, especially to take the kids, the beach is calm and has a nice gradual slope to the water, fun finding shells, and nice shade under the pohutakawa trees, recommend taking a picnic and setting up for the day but take your rubbish home with you.
