I had Dr Maggie Chapman Ow 6.5 years ago for my first colonoscopy which i was naturally very nervous about. She was so calm and reassuring along with the rest of the staff at Mercy Ascot in Takapuna. I then had my follow up one yesterday. I wanted to make sure it was with Dr Maggie again and was thrilled when it was. Once again her calm and reassuring demeanor put me at ease and she made sure that i knew all the results at the end. What a professional and pleasant team they are. Thank you so much again. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Maggie and her team.

My husband saw Dr Lane last year and was impressed so we brought our daughter to see Dr Maggie Chapman-Ow recently. From the reception, to the specialists, and the dietitian, we would thoroughly recommend this practice. Nicola at reception was so lovely, she was very accomodating even though I had to change our appointment a few times. Our daughter was having really bad gut issues and we had been to the GP so many times without success. Dr Chapman-Ow diagnosed her with colitis and explained things without using medical jargon. My daughter found her easy to talk to. She was very nervous about having a colonoscopy but Dr Maggie and her amazing team of nurses helped her feel at ease. She has now started on treatment and her symptoms have pretty much gone.

Maggii Chapman Ow, I had an appointment with you as you were the only one available .I found you to be very rude and disrespectful. You did not have good manners and was not looking at me when I talked to you. You even felt offended when I corrected you on something because you did not know anything about it. It showed you lacked self esteem and experience but most of all have no respect and good manners with patients.

Is it possible to look forward to a colonoscopy? Well, apart from the Moviprep preparation, I do. Dr. Maggie Chapman-Ow MBCHB, FRACP, MD and the staff at Mercy Endoscopy, Takapuna are an amazing team, friendly, respectful while being very efficient. About to enter my 80's, I have been looked after by Dr Maggie for several years now. I have found her to always have the best interest in my well-being, with follow-up communications and recommendations for my future well being. Apart from the medical side of my visits, I must also mention the spotless environment - you feel that you are attending a brand new facility. Oh, and I do look forward to the lovely refreshments post procedure! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Dr Maggie and her Takapuna team.

Dr. Maggie Chapman-OW & the Mercy Ascot team treated me with professionalism, understanding & respect. The practice is well organised & efficiently run. All information regarding my procedure and the results was well presented & clearly explained. I have no hesitation in recommending their services.

I could not recommend Dr Maggie Chapman-Ow and her team highly enough!! They're amazing. Kind, knowledgable, skilled and genuinely caring. They take the time to make sure you understand everything and are comfortable. Every visit/procedure I've had over the years, I have felt nothing but confident in their care.

I found Maggie to be understanding, caring and knowledgeable. I would recommend her if you need to see a specialist. I also found the Practice itself very good to deal with.

I have been with Auckland Gastro and Dr. Maggie Chapman-Ow for the past 5 months and highly recommend their services:- Whoever is behind the reception is always friendly and welcoming.- When you come for an appointment you never had to wait for long before the Doctor sees you.- You get a copy of the consultation letter sent to you directly which is great.- The specialist... let me just say that I wouldn't have wished to be referred to someone else! Professional, understanding, knowledgeable, taking you seriously and will not hesitate to run extra tests if something new has popped up... I can keep going - she even contacted me at 8 PM one evening to inform me of my test results. Which specialist does that?Overall I am very pleased with how the whole practice runs and handles their patients. I'm especially glad that I found Maggie as my Doctor and will highly recommend her to anyone who needs to be referred to a gastro specialist.

Maggie Chapman-Ow is an incredible specialist. She took time to carefully explain my test results with me and give me options when it came to my next steps for treatment. I felt very secure and comforted when I arrived at the hospital for my procedure due to Maggies warm and caring nature and the amazing care shown by her team. Would highly recommend.
