A good price, but the service was poor.We ordered the skip for three days. They delivered it at around 5pm on the first day. We almost finished filling it on the second day. We only had a couple of hours work left, so I called them on day two to make sure they didn't pick it up first thing in the morning. They said they couldn't guarantee the time they would pick it up but that they would do it in the afternoon. That was fine as I only needed an hour or two in the morning.When I went outside next morning at 9am the bin was gone!!!!! This was despite me specifically calling to make sure it didn't happen and the assurances I was given.What was worse was when I called to explain and ask for my bin back, I just got a NO and referred to their policy that they can't guarantee a pick up time. I didn't need them to guarantee a pick up time, I just needed to pick the bin up in the afternoon like they said they would!Poor service Waste Management.

Service around cancelling is very poor. Call dropped twice being put through to the cancellations guy, seemed a bit lost as to how to put it all through once I finally got to speak with him. The bins got retracted fine but then I'm still being charged and I haven't got my deposit back. The staff seem to be either very poorly trained or maliciously trying to put me off, I'm hoping it's the former. Called again to resolve it and told I would be called back by accounts. Not too surprised to find I haven't been called back. Frustrating to say the least when I'm owed in the region of $250 from them.

Unbelievably shocking service. Paying for a fortnightly collection since March and have counted more times that the bin hasn't been emptied than has. Support is just as unhelpful as the drivers themselves.Only good thing I can say is that we're past the 24 week and can cancel without paying the early cancellation fee.Appalling, disappointing and not at all worth the headache.

Pretty hopeless. Waste Management hold the contract for the residential bin collection for the Christchurch City Council. If they half empty the bin or miss picking it up they can take over a week to come back to empty it. They can blame covid all they want but there’s no excuse for not following up on a ticket for a half empty for a week.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They fail at the most basic jobs which is emptying out your rubbish bin. We were BRAND NEW CUSTOMERS and they took our money and NEVER provided service even ONCE. On 4 different occasions they said within 1 week of having our bin, we were constantly LIED too!!! Even by their own supervisor. They should be reported to the consumer rights tribunal!!

Signed up 3 months ago. They only managed one or two pick-ups in that time (should have been at least 6). This is despite calling twice and being promised they'd sort it out both times. I left the bin out for so long at one point (a month or so) that it killed a patch of grass, so it's certainly not a case of the bin not being put out on the correct day. I've given up on Waste Management and will take my business elsewhere. Terrible service.

Terrible management. Allowing stores to not do their recycling. Only had waste and cardboards session, without recycling bins. Checked with the stores staff and they had to dumb all kinds of rubbish into waste. I thought we care for the environment in this country, how can a company get away with it? If you run a company, you should know better what you gotta do!

Ordered an extra wheelie bin, been paying since 19June and 2 weeks after it was suppose to be picked up, it still hasn't been! Have been told 5 times now on the 0800, just place the bin kerbside and we will collect tomorrow, still hasn't been collected! Very disappointing so far

Unfortunately they hold the contract for Christchurch Waste & Recycling Collection. It's 50/50 whether they actually pick my bin up. I have been told point blank by their staff before that the driver did not feel like picking up the bins down that road so he just didn't.

Terrible service - after failing to pick up our wheelie bin I contacted their office only to be told they no longer service our street. No warning and all emails stated our service was still running and collection dates for the following weeks confirmed. We were left with a full wheelie bin and a build up of rubbish, which they eventually collected 3 weeks past our original collection date after calling them multiple times. Highly disappointed
