Front of house ruined our day.Food outstanding, service horrible.We left feeling like we had just been in an episode of faulty towers!! Very slow service even for a cup of coffee or tea. Alot of confusion from front of house (which we were warned about when we sat down). Whole teapot taken away after a spill when pouring the first cup with just one cup of tea returned instead of pot and jug of milk.We booked our table to be told others has arrived and our food will come out very late. Felt like a burden to them the whole time. Rude comments and questions by front of house. Awful experience besides the outstanding food. I highly recommend a capable front of house for your restaurant. We were not happy with your hospitality service, and we came for my mothers 80th birthday. Told by front of house that she was 81, which is obviously why she can't do her job anymore. Appalling. Compliments to the chef as he was very capable and gave good hospitality.

The food here is outstanding (had the bruschetta). Make sure you check opening hours ahead of time.

Arrived at 3.30 only to be turned away as cafe was no longer serving meals. I had travelled from Auckland to try a particular recommend meal here and was very disappointed I wasted my time.

Had another lovely meal here today. This time I had the Koru Burger which was delish and not your ordinary burger. Lovely salad with home made vinagarette to accompany it too.You must book.
