Excellent service and unforgettable experience of rafting and fishing!I caught my first rainbow trout there! And no matter that the flies from the standard set that we were given were not particularly attractive for fish, but, fortunately, our guide was the best and shared their lures :)

Most amazing experience I have had in such a long time. Our guide Weti was awesome, he knew heaps about the river and the surrounding land. Was a great laugh and made the whole experience. Would definitely recommend for anyone to do, can't wait to come back and do it again sometime!

It was the best and most exciting experience I have ever done in my life. I definitely recommend it to everyone who visits NZ. It was over 14km, over 55 rapids filled with loads of excitement, fun, care, and knowledge from Madi, our captain of the boat. Madi took our whole experience to a whole new level with her great rafting skills, stories about the river, places we saw and visited as well as Maori stories from the past. I also did something that I haven't done in 50 years! Jumped off a cliff (around 4-5m high) straight into the river! Thank you, Madi and wonderful people for the encouragement!!! Once again I would like to thank Rafting New Zealand and our great captain Madi!

Group of 8 put into two rafts. Had a great day on the water. Excellent guides. Very professional outfit. Great scenery. Grade 3 raids are fun for all ages. Reccomended.

Loved the tour. It was about 16km raft with grade 2 to 3 rapids for about 2 hours. Staff is friendly and their package include photos and videos of the tour. The guides also explain about the wildlife and plants as you come across them. We had so much fun.

Best white rafting centre. We did the grade-4. An absolutely great experience. They take a great deal of effort and time in explaining the safety protocols and procedures before we are set to go. A wonderful team.Our guide was the best. The fish chocolates whilst the rafting and the hot dogs later were delicious.

Awesome day, all the staff were great with our 4 year old who had a blast. Great family activity. Thanks Jeremy, loved learning about the history and heritage of the area.

This is THE rafting company to take you on a tour of the Tongariro river. The set up is first class with top notch equipment and friendly experienced river guides. The 14 kms of river and 52 rapids all add up to a memorable few hours and provide a great taste of New Zealand adventure. The hot showers, cold beers and hot dogs at the end just cap a great outing.

Returning customers - so really like this gang. Quite a trip, safe and environmentally aware and scenes along the rafting that take your breath away.Looses one star for the shocking prices for the pictures/videos they take of the group along the tour (something like $29 for photos and $50 for video or $70 for both).

Woohoo, what a wonderful morning we had courtesy of Rafting NZ. My partner and I went down specially from Rotorua to Turangi for the rafting experience and returned to Auckland (home) after that. We would plan a trip down again specially to do the Tongariro Whitewater rafting again. Thank you Gabe for making the rafting experience so entertaining. You have a great knowledge of things fauna and flora. Love the names of the various rapids, made it more entertaining. The bonus was when the raft flipped down the most placid rapid, made the experience SO MUCH BETTER!!! I love the untouched beauty out there, the beautiful canyons and the blue duck. Thanks to Conrad and Craig for assisting with the rafting experience. My partner, Mario, thought that the rafting would be too 'touristy' and whilst it was, it exceeded both our expectations. The warm showers! The fact that the wetsuit, socks etc are hosed down. The hot chocolate on the river with the chocolate fish! The river dog afterwards. What impressed me the most is the cleanliness!!! The locker rooms, toilets, shower, area where the hot dog is served with an assortment of condiments...everything is CLEAN. I love the friendliness of all staff and Indy the dog who greets you on your return from the trip. Wonderful outfit, well thought out and a wonderful experience. We will be back! and we will be bringing a load of family members with!
