Garden City Chem-Dry

ChemDry Garden City..held a lot of promise for us... we wanted some carpets cleaned, and the suggestion that the carpets would be left a little drier than some of their competitors was the attraction. However while that seemed to be a fact...despite keeping their appointment on time and the operator being pleasant enough, the end results were disappointing. The major issue we encountered was that the carpet was not spot cleaned prior to the actual cleaning and in fact food residue and surface stains remained after the process was finished. The operator returned and re cleaned some parts of the carpet, only to leave cleaning marks in the carpet. The operator also took away a small rug saying that it would be best cleaned back at his office...and that exercise was a dismal failure. We eventually had the rug successfully cleaned by a professional cleaner at the Persian Rug Gallery in the city.We started out with great expectations for the Garden City Chem-Dry franchise operator , but the end result was a disappointment. Unfortunately as is the norm with carpet cleaning companies they take your money, with no suggestion of even a partial refund when the results are less than satisfactory .

What a great team! We have been affected by the torrential downpour on Jan 27 which left areas of our house under 40cm of water. The team from Christchurch came up to Auckland and has been working tirelessly over the last 3 weeks to get us ship-shape and back to normal.Communication has been fantastic and they have been punctual for all visits. They are pleasant to deal with and have kept me informed about progress that they are making. Happy to recommend!
