Marsic Bros (Marsic Fish Shop)

Great service fantastic takeaways and fresh fish - probably the only fish shop I know of that does not smell like fish. True story. If it's not Marsic bros frankly I won't be having fish and chips.

I stopped by to grab something for lunch since I was in the area. They do sell fish as well, both fresh and smoked. The fish shop is what you see from the street but once you head in you can see the takeaway counter. The menu is right on the wall and hard to miss. It is a fairly basic menu with mostly fried items. You are also able to get something from the window cooked there. I ended up going for the fish burger with egg. The burger bun was toasted and the fish was really nicely cooked. Great crispy batter with tender fish. It was very easy to eat even though it was hot. The fish n chips here is probably really good based off the fish in the burger.

I love their fish and chips... fresh and cooked just right. It's clean, they are friendly and the place is packed with people buying take aways and fresh fish. I'm going back this week

Our absolute go too! The BEST fresh seafood & fish & chips ever! Even better is the cleanliness of this place, they've been around forever but you would never think as they maintain their store incredibly well. We highly, highly recommend.
