14 minutes waiting for a checkout one lady only on the checkout and a staff member who obviously thought replacing chewing gum on the stand was more important than serving frustrated customers. I did what I swore I would never do I walked out leaving my groceries behind. Apologies for who ever had to unpack it but it looked like I would have a further 14 minutes before my turn.

Fair enough shopping experience. In front is Countdown. Self checkout was available. Staff wasn't bad at service.

Place was very clean. Shelves stocked well. Friendly service. In an earlier post of another store I stated the groceries were a little higher. Well my wife told me that the groceries here are about 25 percent higher with some items being very expensive. She normally does the shopping.

Countdown always good value for money . But sadly no gold card excerpted here therefore no gold card discounts on Tuesdays . Staff very pleasant and helpful and helpful. Plenty of hand sanitizer readily available . No parking in there car park for motorhomes but room outside on the street.

The shop was nice enough but the checkout experience was less than stellar. We were buying some beer and cider. The elderly checkout operator asked if we had ID. We thought at first that she was joking but she insisted that she had the right to ask. We are both over 60!!

I shop here because I have to and they aren’t grumpy like the New Worlds despite the busyness and characters they get in here.The produce sections are so inconsistent and when it’s bad it’s really bad, overpriced, empty looking sad produce.Price increases haven’t stopped, things just keep going up week after week and on top of that the range of things is decreasing noticeably which is frustrating.The alcohol range is pretty good with decent specials often. Most of the time the deli has excellent sandwiches for $6 from around 11am.Their service is pretty awesome despite being understaffed at times.
