Such a laid back place with amazing low and slow American style bbq food. Great bang for buck and a menu that doesn't stay 100% the same. Great to have a place like this in Mangawhai and a must try for everyone!

Without a doubt the best BBQ meal I have had in a long time. I'm always disappointed with BBQ joints in the past, the meal isn't as big as they make it out to be. And it never is justified In the cost. Not the case with BBQ hut, awesome sized lunch box, I struggled to finish it. Tasted amazing. Worth every penny. And the Fry bread was top notch also, so many people get fry bread wrong, this shop nails it! Keep up the amazing work, I will be back next time I'm in town.

We just had the most delicious BBQ and coffee! Tender and tasty. Totally recommend for breakfast, second breakfast, brunch, lunch, snacky or dinner. You won't be disappointed.

Food is average, but comes in a paper bag. Service is great for a cafe that only has one person doing most of the work. Atmosphere could be much better. At present they only have outside seating, and the only under cover offering is umbrella's or a shared conservatory area, that only has one picnic table in it.We Dined in, but there was no inside seating free.

What can I say. Got the dinner pack. Fry bread included♥️. And the meat was just incredible. Full of flavour and melt in your mouth. Best place for a feed in Mangawhai!

Epic Goodness! We have used these guys multiple times to cater our work functions and Xmas day lunch. The meat is next level good and you’ll never taste anything so tender and flavoursome! Definitely our go to place in Mangawhai

Yum! I pop into the BBQ Hut on most of my visits to Mangawhai and it always impresses. There’s a wide range of different meats as well as a cabinet full of delicious slices, scones, sandwiches and more. I’d recommend a pulled pork/beef fry bread hoagie; however, these are quick to sell out most mornings so clearly a crowd favourite. Otherwise, the dinner boxes are awesome as you get to try it all… ribs, pulled pork/beef, brisket and lamb.
