Farmers Manukau

A large store with a good collection and stock. Helpful staff that are happy to go looking when you've found something online but can't locate it on the shelves or racks.

May 2023FARMERS stores have been in business for decades, offering a great range of products at competitive prices. Having been in this store many time before, it's great to see that it is always clean and the staff are pleasant too.

Went in early to purchase Makeup from the beauty department. The lady in that department was absolutely lovely to deal with its my exit that I was particularly upset about.I knew I was being judged by what I looked like the clothes I wore Etc when 2x workers 1x of which was a security worker undercover (she made sure her Walky talky from the toy department was visible) As they waited at the bottom of the escalator i headed down they purposely blocked where I needed to get off. As I got closer they both scoped me I shook my Farmers bag at them with the receipt to which they shifted enough for me to move past it was disgusting behaviour. Why should I have to have to be made to feel like a criminal because of your stereotyping.People like that shouldn’t be working in retail rather a prison so your actions are actually justified.

Farmers need to investigate their security guard(Female) behaviourWhy would she has to mucking around customers while shopping and treat kids like nothing while they are touching anythingIf our kids damage anything in your store we are responsible to pay for it and your security guard treat us like we are thieves thereMy wife still bought some lipsticks that time and i just existed your store after one minute of this incident and we are not coming back to your store for lifeSuch a racial behaviour with customers by your security guardCustomer service is always polite and helpful but farmers will lose their customers because of that female security guardI have had read other reviews and found your security guard judging people from their clothes.

It's bright, clean, and tidy. Prices are always better in their frequent sales.

Well laid out store, very helpful staff and fabulous ranges of products.Road access into the store was easy, parking was a breeze in a large shopping centre area.Prices are creeping up considerably but so are a lot of others I guess - still $89 for simple tights/Ponte pants is definitely stretching it...

Quite a busy store but well stocked & staff were friendly.

Purchased a Sunbeam jug for close to $200 but the lid opens while boiling water. Emailed customer care and they advised me to take it to the nearest Farmers to get a replacement. Went to the Manukau branch with the Jug, receipt and email and guess what, the customer service lady (Movin) took out a big bottle of water, filled the jug and plugged it in. the Lid didn't open, she turns to me and says there is no issue thus there will not be a replacement. I asked to speak to the Manager and she calls Sakshi the Manager who agrees with Movin. At fist i felt as though i was in Bargain Box in Fiji GOSH. I told them that I have kids in the house and since the jug had opened before I am not taking any chances and I left the store without the Jug.Called Sunbeam NZ directly the next day and they were so professional. They said farmers customer service agent are not qualified to test their products. I had a replacement jug sent to my house in 7 days directly from SunbeamAvoid the Manukau branch. Seems like they hire staff without training. They sound professional when they speak(Movin & Sakshi) but are not qualified to make those statements. Botany farmers is much more friendly as they were the ones who told me to call Sunbeam and lodge a complain. They said Manukau farmers had spoken to the online customer Service that is why no one is replying...so ganging up on customers.Thank You Sunbeam for the no question asked Replacement
