We went to Alfie's for Mother's Day brunch. It was really busy, but the service was friendly and fast. Coffee was really good and the food was so yum! I had the big breakfast and enjoyed every element on the plate. Well definitely be coming again!

The Kumara salad was partly warm, partly cold. Not sure what it ment to be. I had to dig my way through to find the bacon at the very bottom of the salad. Tasted good but there is clearly room for improvement.

Terrible expereince today.If you have changed owner, please say so, don't accuse your customer faking the stamps. I got no reason for fake it as i got my own coffee machine at home, today i had ran out my beans that why you see me.Should i email you my epos statement to show how many coffees i have purchased from you shop to prove a point?I won't be coming back again(even i run out my own beans), the damage is done!

Alfie's breakfast, The qaulity of the food at Alfie's was spot on. The kranskie was as good as any I've tasted before. The bacon was very flavorsome also. But.....I chose the breakfast after seeing Potabello mushroom garlic cooked as being part of it.Who doesn't love a big fat juicy, garlic cooked portabello as part of a cooked breakie. Google states the average size of a Portabello to be about six inches. Very disappointing Alfie. One mushroom about the size of a two dollar coin. Or about an inch. The menu after rereading it does say Mushroom" as opposed to Mushrooms. But come on Alfie at $28 dollars for a breakie. One measley shroom at less than a sixth of their average size. ( Button Mushroom )Maybe I missed something. The gold leaf it was cooked in.Oh and if you are a mushroom fan like me. Avoid the eggs Benedict

My 11 year old daughter has the following comments. It's amazing, the food is deliciouohso (not a real word). The hot chocolate is 100% worth it. The music is really nice, the place is very clean. The workers are very nice. The pasta salad was to die for. I shall be insisting my mother and father take me back soon.

Really pleased coming here!Other than everything being a little steeply priced (understandable given the area) I really liked it.Very nice, comfortable seating with couches in centre of cafe.Lovely high ceilings and lots of windows made it feel light and airy inside.The open kitchen was cool to see staff make your food.Staff were friendly.Coffee was fine, Belgian waffles were SUPERB.Will definitely be coming back to try more menu items.

Alfies Cafe is a hidden gem in Rototuna North! Have been plenty of times and enjoyed my meal every time! Everything was spotless and the customer service left me feeling very happy! Definitely recommend to everyone!

Went in on Monday it wasn't busy. Ordered a scone and a coffee, 20 minutes later no scone, so asked one of the staff and was told it's being heated and will be served soon. Waited for another 20 minutes by that time everyone on the table got their food and I was the first to order then the same staff came back and said the scone was given to another table and asked if I wanted anything else. So i was waiting for over half an hour for nothing, very disappointed, won't be back and this place is overpriced. Staff need more training.

Yum! Great service superb cup of tea and delicious muffin.Will go back to try some of your food another day. Love that she checked how I liked my tea. Whatever tea you use its yum. Also muffins taste like proper ones. Not the rubbery chain store coffee shop bulk ones. Taste like home made. Ours had berries and chocolate in it.They had sunk to the bottom but was delicious.
