Friendly walk way! Nice flat walk with great views and the occasional benches and shades throughout! This will make me wanting to walk more often!

I wish there were high-quality pathways like this in the U.K. At the beginning and end, there are enjoyable scenic views taking you around an estuary on smooth concrete paths and wooden bridges. The middle section takes you onto main roads servicing residential housing estates and some on pathways on busy main roads(smsll the diesel from the traffic). Can be quite busy in summer at weekends. It can be quite confusing to complete the 8k loop because signs are quite poor in giving you directions.

A lovely walkway closes to the Orewa town center. Parking and toilets are available. It's a less than 8km walkway and cycling path, even good for a pram with your baby.

Lovely easy cycle for families, 7km, with carpark, cafe + toilets handy. Gets busy at wkends. Please do NOT speed cycle. It has blind corners, and is shared with local walkers, often with dogs, children in pushchairs, and skateboarders etc.

Beautiful path, is a bit bumpy in parts and can get quite slippery for cycling if foliage falls onto ground and leaves become wet. Great place to exercise.

Low impact ride, however you the opportunity to go on road routes and come back to the track. Could do with better signage when on the path as it does not tell you where you are on the map. Plenty of car parking on site as well as changing rooms for parents and bathrooms. Water fountains in some locations or you can stop in at one of the shops for any refreshments required

A lovely spot with lots of options. I cycle and run here. The loop is approx 8km total. You can add on more of you want to my really ducking off the track to more loop areas or heading along the beach front. While there is a lot of parking its often hard to get a park at busy times. The skate park is pretty cool and even the little ones can enjoy a blast down here.

The portion of the path near the coast is quite nice, but the section through the newer housing is pretty uninspiring. This part also lacks any signage so it is hard to follow the route. Overall the signs are very poor, so it pays to pay attention to the maps at the main entry points. There are some beautiful views at points around the loop, but the lack of effort to add any interest to the newer section spoils the overall experience.
