Der Metz Restaurant
On our pursuit to slowly tick off every Iconic Eat in Auckland, we came across Der Metz.We ordered the Schnitzel and the pork platter and both dishes were incredible. The gravy they served with the pork was insane and I was regretting not getting a side order of just gravy.All in all 10/10

Der Metz Restaurant
Food is great, the jägerschnitzel was delicious. Staff are very friendly. There are tables outside near heaters, which is a dog friendly area and more quiet than inside the restaurant. Service is not fast, so it isn’t a place for a quick meal. Would definitely come back for more schnitzel.

Nice atmosphere at the Heritage Hotel and very kind service from the chef!The food selection is so vast, the menu has more options than what is stated on the website. Berliner Currywurst was good, but had too much sauce and additional ketchup by the side. For sure had better currywurst in Berlin for a much lower price as well.Totally worth it to try out once!

The food is very good but the service was pretty damn bad. We were the first people and the restaurant was empty but we got the bread after we finished the food!! There was a young guy there who seemed very confused, it could be his first day. The lady who helped us although there was a delay but she had a nice smile and very good attitude.

Unfortunately, as much as I wanted to give a good review my experience wasn't good.Oven cooked fries from supermarket were cold and tasteless, not quite sure what the Chicken Schnitzel" was about but it wasn't good

Can't believe you've put your prices up $3 for one of these at the stadium, used to be $8 last season now $11, yet still $8 at the vege market in the Hutt, would have given you 0 stars if they had them, what a rip off!!!

These are the best sausages in all of Wellington, the perfect snack after doing your groceries at the Sunday Market.If you go here I would highly recommend the mild Double Banger (Two sausages in one bun) as it is so perfect.Overall an awesome food stall

Good German food. Bit on the pricey side, but I could easily eat a bucket of their slaw. I’m not an expert, but I did live in Germany for a few years and this is pretty spot on.
