This little place is super busy BUT worth the wait ! I had the spicy chicken (D7) the dish was a good heat loads of chicken on a bed of rice for $11.00. Next visit I will remember to take a photo before I start eating :)

*Katsu Chicken fans*this place serves the best Katsu chicken on rice in auckland in my opinion. I have tried many restaurants in CBD, east auckland and south mainly but sushi5000 produce the crispiest and freshest chicken, very generous portions and to top it all of they crack an egg with the green onions and capsicums. been going there for 5 years and consistency never changed. 10/10

Great place has many different types of sushi and salads available, they also do freshly cooked takeaways. Prices are reasonable to.By far one of the best places to buy sushi from even better than any of St Pierre's sushi shops I've been to.

Amazing sushi. Amazing Teriyaki salmon. Great service. I wish we had found this place ealier on our trip. We'll be coming back tomorrow (insha'Allah), our last day in NZ. You won't be disappointed. Those with different tastes have other choices nearby :)

adorable little local with lovely staff who really care about their work. food was amazing for the price and the self-serve toppings bar was really nice. would definitely recommend if youre looking for good food nearby.

I ordered the spicy Chicken donburi and assorted sushi and it was absolutely amazing!! The food was fresh and packed with flavour!! The service was amazing, we were greeted instantly with the most welcoming smile and our order was complete fast. Could not recommend a place any higher than this place!!!
