This cafe surprised us a lot. Everything is tasty, no fail. Love the sausage and the tiramisu. Will def visit back.

The Flying Pig Cafe
The first time in New Zealand where the coffee was perfect. All other times it has been good but a bit stale. Had the bug breakfast and all aspect were perfect. The home made baked beans were sublime, surplanting the Over The Edge in Melrose's home made baked beans in quality. And that is a huge compliment. The BLT was perfect as well. If passing, at anytime they're open, go in. Well worth it.

Best coffee I’ve had in NZ by far. Visited quite a few times and sampled the menu. The pie, cheese roll, omelette and BLT were all fantastic. Great service- thank you!

Stopped here today after visiting Elephant rocks, what a fantastic place. Our burgers were absolutely delicious topped with bacon and delicious relish. The food was hot and freshly cooked. Polite service from great staff, this place was a pleasant surprise, definitely worth the stop if you are in the area.

Absolutely perfect stopping point along the A2O cycling route. The afghan biscuits were out of this world (so good we bought 3 more to take away). Clean toilets and a lovely friendly atmosphere, especially when we were wet and cold.

We ordered mixed grain club sammies. There was 4 in the cabinet when we ordered them 20 mins later one mixed grain only. We settled for a white one due to the time it took. Orders taken need to be checked off and set aside... Normally very good, but very busy
