Fantastic! Really clean, nice furniture. Bed mattresses are thick and comfy (much nicer than other backpacking stays), two thick pillows provided instead of one awful one, people at reception are incredibly nice and will go above and beyond to help you or answer questions.

The place is simply great. It's close to the shops and restaurants. It was clean and we had a lot of free goodies that make your stay even better such as breakfast (eat as much as you want) and soup at the end of the day. It was an easy ride to the glaciers from the hostel and when you get back it was nice and quiet. I think the place is well maintained for such a small town.

The best hostel ever. You feel like at home. Kitchen is always available and it's completely clean and tidy. Friendly atmosphere in the dining room. Bedroom is quiet and comfortable. You can relax in the sauna. Good location, close to bus stop. Staff is very kind and friendly. Highly recommended.

Great beautiful place to stay in the mountains. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The layout of the shared bathroom is great and they provide guests with bathroom mats in the bathroom. Guests are quiet at night and it’s easy to sleep. The free sauna makes this even better value.

Welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. Cleaning in this hostel was done more frequently as seen. Room was clean and less dusty too. However, there were a few mosquitoes (good to use insect repellent). Kitchen very neat as well. Efforts were made to maintain; staff reminded guest to wash their dirty dishes when there were a few left unwashed by some irresponsible people. Overall, we had a great stay. It's definitely way better than YHA lakefront which was not as well maintained as this. YHA lakefront was a total opposite of here.

Its one of the best YHA's in my opinion - the rooms are pretty big - the showers and toilets also. The Dining-room looks more like in a cafe than in a hostel and the kitchen is also very big and got everything you need. Furthermore the staffs are very nice too. :) I would totally recommend it!

Good hostel, stopped here for a night on my West Coast trip, good laundry, clean showers, good kitchen dining area, huge. Heaps of good clean pots and pans. 2 power points by your bed and one in your locker along side a USB port too so can charge everything up. Give these guys a go for sure

Lovely accommodation.Clean, neat and very helpful front desk.We stayed in a double room shared bath room. We found it expensive $135 with shared bath room.Kitchen amazing loads of pots pans and cutlery. Gas stove and microwave.People friendly and respectful.Highly recommend.
