We absolutely loved our visit. Rachel was a fantastic host and guide - and the experience was so intimate and special for us. We really appreciated the opportunity to view the paintings in the most perfect setting. Tim's works will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Whenever I've visited Queenstown in the past, my top priority was always to visit Tim's gallery in town and just sit in front of his paintings. They truly are breathtaking. I feel so lucky to have met Tim and watched him work. Usually I would need to go back two or three times just to get my fix. This trip has been my first since Tim's passing. To see so many of his earlier works, as well as a number of pieces in progress was incredible. Rachel is a superb guide - passionate, knowledgeable and with so many personal anecdotes to share of her time spent with Tim. Thank you Vaj, for your ongoing vision for Tim's legacy, and for so graciously allowing us to continue enjoying Tim's genius in your magnificent home. Whether you are an art person or not, it's a must see.

I just wanted to say thanks again for showing us Tim's work. We were treated to a thoughtful tour and explanations by Rachel. I felt like I learned a lot about Tim, and not only his painting, but the kind of man that he was. He is an inspiration to me. His paintings are the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen, and I also love the way that he did it in his own way and on his own terms. It is wonderful how you are able to keep his legacy alive.

On my most recent visit to Queenstown, Mark and I had the pleasure of visiting Tim Wilson's gallery on Edinburgh Drive, we were given a private tour by the wonderful informative Rachel Harper-Dibley. The gallery is truly amazing which displays a broad range of his works, from his earliest days to most recent, amongst some other exquisite treasures. To be able to step into his breathtaking Art Studio, it is then you truly get to see and feel what it would have been like for Tim to work his magic onto his canvas which brings life to his rich colourful paintings. The display of used brushes and tubes of used oil paints sprawled across his workbench for all to see, just how he had left them. The studio is filled with filtered light gathered from the floor to ceiling window which offers a spectacular view over Lake Wakatipu.I've admired Tim's incredible work for many years now. Im honered to have had the opportunity to have a tour through his magnificent gallery. Thankyou so much Vaj for making this happen and to all else involved.If anyone is visiting beautiful Queenstown be sure to put this on your to do list, its a once in a lifetime magical experience.Regards Tracy Jackson

Today we were so privileged to experience a tour of the Tim Wilson art gallery. It was an amazing experience observing the changing styles of Tim's work. He truly was a gifted artist and the gallery is a wonderful tribute to him. The lady who took us through showed great knowledge and respect for Tim .We left feeling very touched that we had glimpsed the story of a gifted artist and inspirational man.

During my recent visit home to Queenstown I was so excited to take my husband to the Tim Wilson Gallery. We had a beautiful tour by Rachel. It was one of the highlights of our trip. It was informative, interesting and very emotional. We felt very blessed to have been welcomed into Tim's home and met his husband - we had an amazing morning. His work is spectacular - like nothing I have ever seen before. An absolutely remarkable and emotional experience. After meeting Tim Wilson in person previously (at his Queenstown gallery) it was such an amazing opportunity to visit his home gallery and hear the full story of his life and work. The range of paintings is excellent, but what truly makes this visit special is the emotional connection you get from seeing his personal painting studio and learning about his life. The woman who talked to us and showed us around was lovely and was really passionate about everything. It's more than just a gallery, it's a tribute to an amazing artist and his life.

Absolutely astonishing. Having visited the gallery in its old location and meeting Tim I was already taken back by his incredible skill in the way he is able to play with so many different layers of lighting, I was able to leave his gallery with a new found appreciation of art. With the new gallery in Tims home it is an amazing experience and one I highly recommend. His home is beautiful and the body of art is outstanding, ranging from his early pieces to his most recent including some unfinished art which allows you to see how he created his amazing work. Rachel is an amazing guide with very in-depth knowledge of Tim, his life and his work. Thank you to Vaj for opening up his home for us all to enjoy and to Rachel for a wonderfully insightful afternoon. I highly recommend visiting if you are in Queenstown, I will certainly be coming back and I can't wait. 10/10

This is a really special opportunity to visit Tim and his partner’s residence which overlooks Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu and to learn more about one of NZ’s most talented artists. While I am not an “art person”, Tim’s oil paintings are spectacular, with light and landscapes that you could marvel at for hours. Through this private viewing Rachel will take you through his works, including some still in progress and sadly not to be finished. Thank you Vaj and Rachel for sharing more of Tim’s life and works, it was a privilege!
