For a reasonable price you will receive what I believe to be very good value. The Motel is well placed being in good walking distance from Papanui Road Restaurants. The rooms are clean and well presented. The only problem I had here is the Service was lacklustre. When I arrived I was told that my prepaid online booking did not exist me then having to motivate the person at the desk to do their job to find it did actually .exist. Not a good feeling when you have paid and the desk person has told you to look elsewhere.

Great value hotel with a delightful host.We were lucky to find the Executive Suite available at short notice before New Year's Eve. The room had a very comfortable bed and everything we needed for a great stay - excellent shower, large kitchenette, TV, iron etc. Bronnie was extremely helpful and friendly, standing out even in a country of full lovely people.The only slight annoyance was the occasional loud vehicle speeding down the road outside but short of replacing the French windows to the balcony, there is not much Bronnie could do about that.I hope to stay again! Thank you.

It's a very open up like access to go to rooms.Close enough to everything city and I enjoy visiting my brother while he is accommodated at 136 on Bearly.

I'd like to give this motel 4.5 stars but Google doesn't have that option. Room was very well equipped and very clean. Good size. Staff friendly & very helpful. Only downside is you are very close to a crossing which beeps approx every 30 seconds all day and night. As there is no air con we had to leave the window open & to be honest even with the window closed the beeping was still quite intrusive. The road itself is quite a busy road too & we were woken by rowdy men, appreciate that is out of the control of the motel but worth bearing in mind.

Great room away from home when family is in hospital. Staff are really friendly and full of information about surrounding areas. Bronnie is a real asset to the place! Room was clean and spacious, our son loved watching all the traffic go past. Highly recommend!

Very poor. Me and my partner are always complaining about noise and no cooking facilities. Under emergency accommodation. How can winz do this to us. We've seen so much crime in the area. I've been in many motels and this is the worst. I've never complained about a motel till now. By me complaining to you in person is like talking to a brick wall. I can't wait till we're out of here. It's like the slums. It's made us sick and vomiting from having to wash dishes in the bathroom. That is so germy.

Was clean and tidy, a few mistakes which we asked to correct and they did. But doors were locked an hour before they said they would be. Also when room was serviced we didn't get face cloths back or coffee, sugar etc. There was nothing to cook on, so had to go out every night for dinner. Over all we enjoyed our stay, but won't be staying again in near future

Amazing value!! The rooms are incredibly clean and spacious and very well priced. Location is good, about a five minute drive from the city centre.The room had absolutely everything you could need, even a stove. Beds are very comfortable.Bronnie, our host, was a typical Kiwi - friendly, helpful and gave us a great experience.Highly highly recommended.
