Love this cafe. It has a real retro vibe. I love the message on the mirror which can almost be a nod to 2022. The team were super friendly. Really glad that we stopped in here to have a coffee and some breakfast on our way through to the wairarapa.

Ordered coffee and toasted sandwidges. After finishing our coffees we waited and waited then we realised that patrons who ordered after us had their meals. I asked what the delay was at the counter. 'We will check' they replied. A few minutes later was advised of an error in the kitchen had resulted in our meals being overlooked. They eventually arrived burnt. Will not return.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this local café in upper Hutt, and let me tell you, the pizza was truly amazing. The crust was crispy, crunchy, and perfectly baked, providing the perfect balance of texture to the rest of the ingredients.I ordered a pizza with chicken, onion, jalapeños, mushrooms, and the combination of melted mozzarella cheese. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and I couldn't help but finish the entire pizza by myself.Aside from the delicious food, the staff was also exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable throughout my dining experience. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied, and I truly appreciated their kindness.Overall, I would highly recommend this café to anyone looking for a great pizza and a wonderful dining experience. The crispy crust and the staff's friendly service make it a must-visit for anyone in the area.

The atmosphere at the Boiler Room was relaxing as usual. It is such an interesting atmosphere.The Vegetarian breakfast was delicious, with a delicious gluten free option.The Big Breakfast was filling and delicious.The coffee was delicious. I love the coffee from the Boiler Room.

I love this old cinema building, coffee is great, would have given it 5 starts for food except my muffin was really sweet... My mates said the scones were fantastic. I've had good breakfast here before too.

Mayfair Cafe & The BoileRoom
Mayfair Cafe is located in an old movie theatre and the decor is movie-themed to match. Good food including a brunch and lunch menu, counter food and homemade pizza. The coffee is ok and our service was friendly. Nice surroundings to enjoy a long lunch.
