Hattie's Cafe
Bloody awesome café, owned and operated by a young local girl who is absolutely killing it. Brought the whole extended family along for coffee and cabinet food and they loved it. Big hit with the whole family, always good to hit it out of the park with a recommendation. Get around this cafe, its awesome. You'll love it

This is now my go to place for breakfast. Great service and sumptuous foods. Your hot chocolate’s are amazing too. Definitely a must to visit in Nelson..

Good atmosphere,food looks great,enjoyed the coffee BUT noisy.Couldn't hear each other & having to yell to be heard including ordering coffee which I had to repeat over the noise of other patrons.Sort it out guys or you'll be losing customers.

Hattie's Cafe
I'm not normally a huge fan of typical cafe food but I was so impressed by the food at Hatties - great menu and cabinet options, tasty, decently portioned and so well-priced. The cafe's in a somewhat unfortunate spot tucked away in the corner of a parking square, so easy to miss but they seem to already have a loyal group of patrons. Would highly recommend.

My new regular spot to visit when in town!!I tried the Hatties Bene with salmon this morning and it was delicious! Great spot for studying as well, plenty of plugs to keep the laptop charged up at.

Had a piccalo(like a small latte), it had very distinct flavors that i could make out very well, lovely coffee, and the jaffa on the side made it even better.

Good food; good atmosphere; quick and friendly service; clean bathrooms. Only complaint that the chairs are quite uncomfortable.

Hattie's Cafe
Heard they had gluten free scones so while in town we tried Hattie's scones. There was a choice of 3 ; dates, ham & cheese, tomato & cheese. Served warm with butter, of course. Very nice scones & nice hot coffee. Plenty of parking too.
