Rude staff- absolutely appalled at the way I was treated

Not happy with service selling my parents estate. The valuer seemed very disinterested despite there being some unique items but claimed to be knowledgeable about the items. The worst part was that one of the items was listed in a lot in 300s with a very paltry description and low expected range but was sold… it appears in an auction a few months later in the first lot with a much more interesting description including the century etc and higher expected range and then sells for over 7 times more than in the first auction. You have to wonder why that description wasn’t given first time around.

I have had great experiences with buying from online auctions with Dunbar Sloane this year, and couldn't recommend them more highly. I have bought a huge variety of items and have been delighted every time they arrive. I always appreciate that when the goods are couriered, the packaging is done very carefully and delivered very fast from Wellington to Auckland. A couple of times I bought things that were very heavy and Dunbar himself was luckily driving up to Auckland both times, and brought the items to the Parnell office for me to pick up, which was excellent customer service. I look forward to buying more in the future :)
