Bridle Path Walk
It’s one of my best walks in the country. Good for someone who likes moderate challenges while enjoying beautiful views. I was lucky enough watching a farm owner manages a herd of sheep with the help of dogs. What a team work!

Bridle path track is a bit steep and challenging. But fun the views are amazing. You can see lyttleton port from the top.Two and half kilometers. Takes about an hour.

Bring good shoes... The skree and gravel here is serious, especially on the way downhill!

Easy access with bus if you prefer not to rent a car or take taxi. Head up to Gondola stop and find your way down to costal city walks.

Enjoyed the gondola and watching the paragliders. Information guide at the tram stop in the centre of Christchurch, next to the renovations of the cathedral, very helpful and informative

Wake up to a workout? No problem! This walk Will guarantee making you feel great, you’ll burn calories, you’ll get a sweat going. The insta worthy views on the way up are breathe taking which make the climb worth the challenge. My most favoured walks in Christchurch.
