Been very disappointed with the last 3 times I have been and just not up to there stand that they had a year ago. Asked for no veg there was still veg in.

I asked for a vegetarian sushi pack with double avocado... had to wait 15 minutes and then when I bit into it realised it was only avocado inside lol, so took it back and asked for what I ordered and had to wait another 15 minutes and they refused to make it for me unless I payed another 40 cents. Waste of time and the avocado is bordering brown. Never going back. Very disappointed.

WORST SERVICE EVER BY THE EUROPEAN GIRL. She is very RUDE, her customer service is beyond AWFUL. I will NEVER visit this store again. She has been rude on many occasions. I feel very sorry for the other LOVELY LADIES who have to work with her.

Staff extremely rude. Shouted at my son for touching the boxes, even though I had apologised and she could see that my husband and I were talking to my son. He was just too excited for loving sushi and was treated in a very disrespectful way… maybe for being a child, she thought it was okay to shout in front of everyone?

Nice flavour sushi however they are very miserable with the filling on the rice balls, last time i was there my rice ball had barely a teaspoon worth of chicken in it which was really disappointing.

Maki Mono is a great sushi place. It serves the a nice range of sushi plus other similar foods. Located on the main street of Rangiora Maki Mono is not a sit down restaurant but a takeaway shop. They are open good hours and have friendly and helpful staff. If you like sushi then this sushi shop will provide you with a great meal. Give them a try as I am really certain that you will enjoy the food.

I came into maki mono recently to purchase some sushi. Purchases a vegetarian with double avocado and a chicken.They gave me some avocado and rice and the chicken one.When I realised 10 minutes later I went back to the shop and gave it back and asked them to make the vegetarian with double avocado as asked originally. He then said I needed to pay another 40cents which I was discusted with as I had already wasted nearly half an hour of my time. I said I was not happy with this and wasn’t going to come back and he didn’t care and still asked me to pay. The sushi wasn’t of high quality, was very dry and I won’t be back. Very dissapointed
