Mangawhai Heads Holiday Park

Superb location with great views from almost all sites and close to a lovely town with lots of amenities. Spotless bathroom and kitchen. Staff are really friendly too.

Was placed here for a wedding. Really nice modern rooms, warm and comfortable. Service not applicable due to my after hours arrival time

Lovely campsite and facilities were good, but the staff were overly rude and threatening. We were making quite a bit of noise at around 8:30pm, the policy states no noise after 10:30pm. The lady drove over to our campsite threatening to kick us out instead of just giving us a fair warning, continuously yelling and screaming at us even after we were quiet. Then a man came over in the morning to tell us off again and proceeded to accuse us of littering in an area of the campsite we hadn’t even been to. He too threatened to kick us out and made us feel very uncomfortable, would not recommend this campsite if you plan on enjoying your stay whatsoever.

We had a one bedroom Unit that had queen & 3 bunk beds. Was very comfortable, very clean & tidy. Fantastic location.

Great location, lovely clean facilities (we were camping) including very close proximity to boat ramp. Would be 5 stars if the service was a little friendlier ... but not sure whether we struck a bad day or what the story was...

A beautifully cared for holiday Park for Campervans beside a stunning bay. Great facilities, spotlessly clean, really helpful owners.Will stay again.

I have stayed here many times, and it’s a gorgeous setting. Especially with the hot pools next door, and with camping discount.

We had such a great time and experience with our stay at mangawhai heads camp ground. All staff we're lovely and friendly. Camp security did an amazing job at looking out for other guests and was super friendly to us and our children, when playing spotlight with other campers. Everyone staying at the camp ground was super friendly aswell. Amenities were very clean and im glad there are signs saying no bikes and scooters around amenities as it would be a accident waiting to happen. Will definitely be back.Thank you for making our two week stay, relaxing and safe for our family and others.
