Not too much people. Wonderful views. Stone beach. Two BBQ stoves on the beach.

STILL OPEN DURING LOCKDOWN!! But you have to come from the north not the south… border patrols in place if you’re coming from Waikato side…. It’s a Beautiful place to visit and it’s a really peaceful quiet place! Toilets are at the beginning and there are three tracks: green and purple which are small tracks and red being the longest… you can definitely spend the whole day here! And the drive there is beautiful!

Great place for a family picnic there's Electric bbqs, picnic tables & restrooms all around the park. There's a few bush walks & hikes if you're into that sort of stuff. Nice place to relax.

The track is steep but well mantained (over 500 elevation). It took us over 3 hours to finish the red track. If you have the walking sticks take them with you. Take enough food and water if the walk span lunch.

Fantastic walk and park. Recommended to everyone. 1.5 hours from Auckland. 3 to 4 hour walk with some great views.

This park has a 11.9km loop trail. Considered moderately challenging route, we were a big group with 4 kids and we completed the trail in about 4 hours. Some parts of the track were blocked with fallen trees. We took the counterclockwise route, fairly steep stairs to the peak and the rough road going down.
