I get emotional thinking about Katie and the journey we've been on for the past year, particularly the week leading up to our wedding day. As if planning a wedding isn’t hard enough, we had the added stresses of organising it during the pandemic. We had so many moving parts continuously changing right up to the big day, and Katie handled it all like a pro. There are no words that can aptly describe how amazing she is. She is dedicated, passionate, empathetic, caring, amazing attention to detail, resilient, dependable, all class. She always made me feel reassured that my “ideas” for our wedding were achievable no matter how big or small they may have been. She was the calm in my storm. Would I recommend her? ABSOLUTELY! We were lucky enough to work with Kate for our wedding in April 2022. It is hard to find the words to do justice to the work she does. Kate makes you feel like your wedding is just as important to her as it is to you. She remembers the little details while simultaneously arranging the big logistics. Where to start......Kate is absolutely 12388091/10 at her job, not only from a professional level but more a personal level also. Working in the events industry myself, I am able to recognise the work that goes into bringing an event together and especially something as important and significant as your own wedding.From start to finish, Kate was incredible. As most of these reviews go, it is very hard to put into words how Kate brought my dream wedding (and my husband's, oops) to life.We had two attempts, Covid affecting the first date and having to reschedule entirely by one year, and the second date coinciding with Cyclone Gabrielle and the declared national state of emergency in NZ, and having an OUTDOOR wedding setting, you can imagine my stress in the weeks leading up to our wedding date, but Kate never faulted. She was at battle stations, doing all of the wet weather contingency that I couldn't even comprehend and taking the brunt of the stress off me.Apart from the reactiveness on the above the week leading up, the whole process with Kate was second to none. She keeps in contact, she is working away in the background coming up with options, ideas, and solutions whilst you are focusing on your present life.No idea or chat is too crazy for Kate, she will listen and guide you through the process, giving her knowledge and advice without taking away from what it is you are suggesting or even guiding you to what you want when you maybe don't even know exactly what that is.A HUGE shout out to Kates's husband Danny also, who ended up serving the cocktails at the actual wedding as our vendor was in AKL and wasn't willing to travel! Kate knew how important the cocktails were to me and absolutely made it happen.I owe a huge amount to Kate for making our special day finally happen (essentially planning not one but two weddings) and not letting me feel the stress in the lead-up or on the day because she is handling everything and is absolutely trustworthy.You are mad if you don't hire this woman!Kate, you're the best x

Kater weddings, and Katie was an invaluable part of our wedding day. She was organised, reliable and so calm! Dealth with the difficult vendors, gave recommendations for ones we were yet to organise and had so many great ideas of how to make our day even better. I really appreciated the little touches like a practical way to deal rubbish and the decorating of our wedding night suite. It was amazing to know someone had everything under control on the day and my husband and I and our families could relax and enjoy the day. Highly recommend Kater Weddings

After putting off our wedding for a year due to the pandemic, we reached out to and worked with Kate leading up to the big day, and in short she took our rather muddled vision and turned it into a spectacular success.Her planning, co-ordination and recommendations leading up to the day meant we were able to find and book an amazing venue and some extremely talented vendors to work with. Throughout the planning process she brought calm, focus and at every step of the way was able to provide valuable advice and point us in the right direction. She is super organised and has an incredible sense of detail. She is calm, totally professional and has an amazing gift for dealing with people. there are really no words to describe how incredible Katie is! From start to finish Katie arranged every detail of my wedding. She managed a bridal party of 14, multiple vendors, and my very demanding expectations. There was not a detail of my wedding that Katie was not across. She is fantastic, the day of the wedding, and leading up I was absoloutley stress free. I trusted Katie and she earned that trust. This woman is an angel.

Kate is the ultimate wedding planner. We worked with her for over a year to plan our dream day, and with Kate’s amazing organisation, calm and efficient nature, our day was absolutely perfect. We couldn’t have wished for anything better, it was flawless. We are so grateful for Kate’s help and guidance through the process, particularly for handling things with ease and grace in such unprecedented times.Planning weddings in a pandemic is not something that I can imagine most planners can handle with the ease that Kate did. We couldn’t have done it without her. The night before our wedding, at 9pm, there was an announcement moving Auckland to level 3 and the rest of the country to level 2. We were devastated. I phoned Kate at 9:30pm in tears, and with her calm, positive and unflappable nature managed to easily fix my fears and worries about the wedding not being able to go ahead - Kate made sure that everything could and would be fine. By the end of the conversation I was back to being excited about the wedding the next day (and even managed to get a full night’s sleep!). This is just one small example of how Kate made our wedding not just possible, but a fantastic and perfect day and celebration of our love.Kate is a perfectionist, and coming from a fellow perfectionist that was so helpful, she fully understood our vision and communicated so professionally and flawlessly with all of our vendors. You really don’t realise how many moving parts there are involved with weddings, and Kate helped us to manage everything, from the minute details through to big picture things like wet weather planning.Thank you so much Kate. There aren't enough words to describe just how incredible Kate is at what she does. When it came to planning our wedding, I knew that I wanted as little work and stress as possible while still wanting everything to be perfect. Over the course of a years planning, Kate took the time to meet up to chat not just about wedding details but took a genuine interest in really getting to know more about us. This was such a refreshing and important dynamic to have with a vendor that I was always hoping for but really not expecting. Kate made it easy, and guided me through all of my tasks, while she took care of practically everything else. The idea of having a wedding wasn't just for us, it was for our family and friends equally - we wanted it that way, and Kate knew exactly how to make sure all of our boxes were ticked. She is effortless and unflappable in the way she makes things happen, a true perfectionist. She loves what she does and it shows! I can't go without mentioning how very generous, down to earth and kind Kate is. In times when I needed to talk to someone who would just get it - for me that was Kate. Our wedding day was perfect, which is simply a reflection of the work and love that Kate put into it. I can honestly say that having Kate on our team was the single best decision that we made!
