We had a lovely night there. lovely view, lovely place. The food was fine.the drinks was great, BUT they overcharge us about $15! We had 3 tacos($11 each)+ one fries(10$)+ one gin and tonic+one pint ipa. We pay $85!

The food was delicious but the waiting time was about 30 minutes. Wich is a lot if you are hungry. The views and firepit were awesome and it made a very good experience!

Great spot by the water in Akaroa. Only stopped for a drink around 2pm on a Friday afternoon as the wait for food was 45 minutes! The tacos coming out looked amazing though.

Amazing tacos and service. The fish tacos were my favorite, but barbacoa, pulled pork and halloumi were loved by my family. Thank you!

Slow cooked ribs were amazing and highly recommended. The atmosphere is great and the views are breathtaking specially at sunset. The wait for a seat was a bit disappointing, but the staff did an amazing job.

Quiet spot in the winter but friendly attentive waitress, tacos were pretty good (the beef could use some brightening up with salad fresh herbs, but pork and fish pretty good), chip’s delicious and mulled wine was alright.

The Harbar is in a great spot with harbour views. Signs warned they are short staffed and menu reduced as a result. There was quite a wait to be served originally. The menu was limited to Tacos and fish and chips, our tacos turned up in reasonable time and were tasty. If you are not in a rush it's a nice place to go and just take in the views with a drink and a light meal.

good view. drinks were reasonably priced at NZD$12 for a pint of IPA and NZD$20 for their gin cocktail.Menu seemed really small though (perhaps due to the staff shortage), with only tacos making up most of the menu.

The three of us enjoyed a taco lunch with a Three Boys IPA, and our friend had a Roots gin from the extensive gin menu.Food was simple but fresh, tasty and reasonably priced.Service, friendly and attentiveView and venue, stunningThe only comment is that the music was a bit loud but got turned down a little as we've asked. Thanks for an enjoyable experience.

Friendly staff and the best hot chips I've had in a long time, and the beers are cold.
