First time ordered fish there got a sick stomach but didn't make a big deal because I thought it might have been something else I ate, but the second time I got it I was sure it was the fish, their chicken wings have become very small and oily same as their chicken thigh very very oily....

Great family owned takeaway. When I first came to Te Kuiti 5 years ago I was served by the owners son, whom looked like he was only 10years. He was very well mannered and served me well. Today, the kids are still working along their parents and is so humbling to see.Their prices are really good too...$5 for two hamburgers...now that is a fab deal!The kids clean and are always friendly and welcoming. The food menu is awesome too. You wont be dissapointed.

I will hesitate to return.Cheap, maybe, but get what you pay for.I ordered a cheese burger with half fries and I have never been given something so substandard. The salad amounted to a teaspoon of lettuce, patty was reasonable, cheese was a token gesture. Half teaspoon of sauce and mayo. And somebody likely spilt the salt on my friesThis place needs to up their game - maybe reduce the menu and do less but betterTwo burgers for $6 is more than they are worthService was good and for that, I thank you

Cheap as chips, excuse the pun! Much cheaper than city fish n chips shops anyways.Good portion sizes for the chips and fish. The 4 start review is due to the burgers. They are cheap but incredibly basic and dry. Hardly anything inside except the patty and a squirt of ketchup. Apart from that it was good

This is one of the worst Chinese takeaways I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of Chinese takeaways. I ordered the egg fried rice, sweet and sour fish, and a bag of prawn crackers. With my fried rice, I think all they used was 1 quail egg because there was BARELY any egg in it for an ‘egg fried rice’. The fish was pretty much just fish in sweet and sour water. And lastly I’ve never had prawn crackers so stale. I have no clue how this place has such a high rating. Folks of Te Kuiti, try and see how Chinese takeaways somewhere else, you deserve better.
