A great time was had making sausages at El Jefe Meats. Nicolas was a great host, explaining what we were going to do and showing us how to do it and what ingredients worked best. It was a fun and educational day - the sausages were delicious..

Nico is really The Boss when it comes to sausages, smoked bacon and personality. He cares more than anyone about his product and you can tell from the result. Best product around! Straight meat - no junk. Our 2 year old can smash a packet of the Pork & Fennel in one sitting which says it all!

Highly recommend the sausage making day - Nicholas is very welcoming and the whole day is very well organised . Nicholas is so enthuastic and very generous with his knowledge of sausage making and recipes. We tasted all the sausages after we finished and left with all the spoils -impressed my friends the next day with a selection of all the different flavours we made. Great day .

Best sausages and smoked bacon in New Zealand! Everything is handmade, super tasty and fresh. You will never buy sausages from the supermarket again! And Nico is lovely to deal with. I 100% recommend it.

El Jefes' sausages are the only ones I would have here in NZ. They're the real thing! I don't normally eat meat unless it's really worth it and with their products I can rest assured that it's good quality & free from nastiest. I definitely recommend it.
