We were just staying around the corner. We were visiting out of town.And I wanted to create a bracelet. Of pearls and pink stone.The young girl there was very helpful.And she helped me out by finishing it off. I wish the bead shop all the best.

I LOVE everything about the bead shop! The locally made jewellery and the opportunity to make your own jewellery is amazing. Such a great little shop and the lady who served us was so warm and friendly. She was very helpful with everything my sister and I needed. If you don’t have time to stay you can even take home little bags to make jewellery from home for adults and children! I can’t wait to go back the next time I visit Queenstown and I would recommend any one to go and visit.

An awesome local gem that’s been around for some 20 years apparently. I had a great time making my own paua and pearl earrings. They may get a little busy during school holidays, but the lovely lady who works there will definitely look after you. They have a massive selection of material - walls and walls of beads and charms, including beautiful pink mussel shells and fresh water pearls in different shapes and hues. The prices were very affordable too, depending on the materials you use a bracelet can cost you a few dollars only. Highly recommend this place as a stop to create cute memories and get unique souvenirs.

Pretty little bead shop in QT. Came in to see if they have torquoise. There were a few people inside making necklaces from beads. Lovely and helpful staff. They have a good selection of beads, some gemstones and jewellery.

Just got my Jade necklace restrung here, couldn't be happier with the service it's even better than I was hoping! Incredible detail, quality string and super efficient, done on the day by the super friendly and talented lady who does all of the stringing. Also amazingly cheap, especially for Queenstown, well worth it!

We were spending a couple of days in Queenstown and my wife saw the store and got very excited because she collects beads.After waiting for her at the door, she and a friend ( a Kiwi) left the store slightly annoyed.There was a young girl at the counter who was very interested in finishing beading other things, barely answered any questions , and overall was not interested in paying attention to the public.I hope the owner is aware of that!Overall an extremely disappointing experience for her!

Don’t miss out. If you want unique, good quality souvenirs and accessories made by hand with paua, this is the right place! Far better than any other souvenir shops you can easily find in every touristy spots. More interesting, attractive. I found my birth earring here.

Best rain activity with kids! When the park and playgrounds are wet, this is just the right place for mummies and a 3 year old. We made a necklace, bought some earrings and spend lots of time looking through all the beautiful beads.

Amazing service. The woman working re-knotted my greenstone cord in just a couple of minutes and refused to charge. Will definitely return for more jewellery repair.
