Parklands Motel
We stayed at Parklands Motel on the way to Milford Sound. We experienced a warm reception from Gary. The room was quaint, neat, warm and clean. It is well located 400m from Lake Te Anau, and close to town with cafes and restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely return when we visit Te Anau again

Nice and clean Motel. Room is spacious and in a good condition. Water pressure in the shower was good. Wifi is only for two devices, but works good. All in all we had a very pleasant stay.

Spent a week here unexpectedly as I tested positive to coronavirus whilst in Te Anau. The staff were very accommodating of this situation; there was no issue extending my stay and they went shopping for groceries for me.The motel is very well located and I found my room to be spacious and comfortable, though a bit dated. Note that some rooms (but not all) have a microwave and toaster in addition to the shared kitchen facilities. Good value motel overall.

Great quiet location a short walk to the main street and waterfront. Super friendly owners, big rooms, handy amenities like laundry room and separate kitchen. Will definitely drop by again next time we're in the area!

Lovely room, clean and bright. Shared kitchen spotless and laundry easy to use. The motel is very handy for both the water's edge and the centre of town.

Great location. Drive to Milford Sound is 90 minutes.Can walk to all restaurants in Te Anau.Rooms are basic and do not have a microwave. Showers are open (curtain) in the bathrooms.However beds have heating!Shared kitchen was good.Trampoline for kids to play.

Outstanding value. Room was clean and comfortable. We used the shared kitchen both nights which was also very clean and well equipped.
