Quick service and a great selection. Ingredients are also fairly fresh. The only thing though is that ever since the restaurant moved to this new place their skewers tastes as if they had been fried instead of actually bbq’ed. You could tell by the lack of charcoal residue, the dispersed oiliness and unnatural “evenness” of the cooking. I understand that this may be a simpler and perhaps even safer way of cooking, but as someone who knows the tastes of skewers that’s been cooked over real charcoal I have to say that I am slightly disappointed.

The best barbecue in AKL, as well as the small dishes. My kids love lamb skewers so much, and the service is nice. Have been the place several times. It seems like it would be the only place for me for barbecue. BTW, foil dishes are my childhood taste. Love it.

I would like to say, if you never been to Maya BBQ, you can't say that you have been to Auckland. Love the food! Especially mala! Love their services! Came again last weekend, still love their food

Late dinner rush to this recommended place. Almost full when we got there, though we waited yet the food was great. Tastier that we left nothing on our plates. Surely we will come back for more.

This should be one of the best Chinese BBQ restaurants in Auckland. Our favorite dishes tonight were BBQ oysters and Tofu. We were quite enjoying the food. It reminded us great memories in China that we had BBQ with friends. The restaurant is super busy, but it would not make you disappointed.

Super busy joint, service is really patchy...although usually because they are so busy.Skewers are very tasty, good for spicy kids and those who like a medium spice. Beer is cold and good price. When they busy, best you order at once, otherwise your order can get lost, especially if you order a couple of different times during your visit.Have been a bunch of times and will continue to visit, as food quality is consistently good.Looking forward to new site up the road when we allowed back out!

Worst BBQ experience , we have to wait 40 mins for table with an pre reservation! and not good serviced as well as dishes not tasty, roasted eggplant actually steamed eggplant, can you imagine that? All the dishes cooking with seasoning from supermarket which I believe I can cook way more Better then!!!
