Had a lunch meeting so decided to try one of Reni's smoothies. It was so delicious and filled me. Amazing quick service with a smile. Highly recommended especially for people on the go :) Thank you Reni - All of your products are truly scrumptious.

Been craving some hangi since being in the South Island, and Kiwi Kai did not disappoint. Beautiful pork hangi with all the fixings, and fry bread that was to die for. Had some raw fish to go with it, and was the best I’ve had for some time (tip: dunk the fry bread in the raw fish!). Highly highly recommend visiting if you’re in Nelson.

I've been looking for a cafe/coffee shop where I feel comfortable and where I can write - Kiwi Kai exceeded my expectations as it's a homely little Cafe tucked between Miller's Acre and the AA. Food was amazing - would highly recommend the Salmon burger if you're a salmon fan such as myself. The service was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed the small banter with the owner during my meal. 15/10, if you haven't been in, check it out. Coffee was nice as well ;)

Best kai! I come and get the fried bread whenever I am in town as it is the best fried bread I have ever had. Awesome coffee great prices definitely a must go to place. Stop by before a picnic would be my reccomendation!

Fantastic host, food, and experience. Had a special mussels and abalone patty on fry bread, and tried a few chutneys. Took a seafood pie to go - warm and flaky pastry. Definitely coming back to try more and enjoy the hospitality.

This place is absolutely wonderful! The service was remarkable and Reni was such a delight! if you're looking for somewhere new to eat and love a warm welcome, definitely go and try Kiwi Kai :)
