Visited here yesterday. Plenty of parking, the lady was very knowledgeable and helpful! LOVELY ice cream and awesome products. Spent more than we thought, but it was/is worth it. Will visit again :-)

Lots of honey - so much choice from inexpensive to expensive. They have a tasting bar where all honeys can be sampled - prepare to be sugared out! Good range of honey flavoured ice cream as well. If you like honey then definitely stop by here if passing.

This place is packed with BEE products. They do have a variety of honey and let you sample until you satisfied. Manuka honey is the best choice for me - love its taste! Facial cream and other skin care are also available. The assistant is really friendly and very helpful. She gives us some nice advice. Alcoholic drink that made of honey is inside. Lots of tool kits for dealing with alive bees and how to get honey for bee hives are also ready for you to take home. Before checkout, I order rum raisin - honey ice cream -- totally amazing yummy! Recommend everyone to visit this Honey Centre.

Waireka Honey Centre
Visited the Waireka Honey Centre for the first time last weekend and had a very enjoyable visit. We searched for the Queen Bee, and Grace was so excited when she found it.We were able to taste the various honeys available before making our selection.Next to the Coffee Bar, there was a selection of honey based ice cream. I definitely recommend the fig and honey, available in waffle or plain cones. We chose the bowls.

Good place to shop honey, the price is fair, and some lotation is even cheaper than big city pharmacy.There is a bees cabinet inside the room, good for kids to learn how bees lives.

A wonderful experience. The kids loved it, especially the live beehive. We ordered ice creams for everyone and they offered us the kids cones for free since it was their first time trying it. We love coming here just for the real fruit ice creams alone.

A cute little honey shop on the highway perfect for stopping to stretch your legs throughout a long journey. There's ice-cream options for the kids and free different flavoured honey taste-testing. You can also buy other things like honey/sweet candies and wine or other achoholic beverages to take home. There is also a bee hive towards the back of the shop and you can go outside to the back and see the bees flying around and coming out from the tube that leads to the indoor hive. There's beekeeping supplies for those beekeepers out there who need some extra equipment. 8.5/10 experience would recommend as a stop along the way.
