Cafe Botannix Welcome Bay
It was windy and because some of their curtains apparently are broken they can't be put down. This place used to be cosy in the outdoor space it's not good now. The coffee isn't the best either. New owners need to put some effort into sorting issues out. I'll not be back

Cafe Botannix Welcome Bay
Haven't been for a while and must have changed hands. Food was horrible. The poached eggs on the big breakfasts were pretty much hard boiled. Toast was soggy, the only good things were the mushroom and sausages. Husband's salad was drenched in dressing and didn't taste like it was fresh. Our friends meals were the same. Daughters pancakes were ok.Very disappointed and won't be back.

A salmon bagle made with the wrong kind of salmon was too unappealing to eat.The loveliest thing was a friendly cat who came for a cuddle while we lunched

Dirty, uncared for with signs on doors well out of date and half ripped. Floors dirty, cat bed in corner just filthy and right where the tables are. Outside chairs covered in bird poo. We were there first thing yesterday morning and they hadn’t been cleaned off for goodness knows how long. Doorway tracks haven’t been cleaned in ages. Young wait staff with long hair not tied back and brushing the tables as they place food down. Very disappointing as it has been one of our faves. Won’t be back.

Cafe Botannix Welcome Bay
We don't have a lot of cafe options in Welcome Bay. However, this cafe is the pick of the bunch. It is right on the roundabout of Welcome Bay Road and state highway 29a. However, it is surrounded by the plants in the garden centre. The coffee is good, the staff are friendly and they're dog friendly.

Really disappointing. The place looks unclean and needs a revamp desperately. Staff look frazzled and like they don't know what they're doing (saw dishes getting mixed up on other tables, waitress didn't know what the food was). The portions are tiny with a large price tag and are swimming in oil. Went to McDonald's afterwards because I was still hungry and didn't want to risk the long wait for something else that is mediocre at best.

It is such a shame that this cafe is not a good one as its in a great place and the only cafe option for quite some distance. Food is pretty bad, prices are more akin to much higher quality food. The food levels are more tuck shop than good cafe.

Coffee OK. Salmon Roulade was fabulous. Expected a garden experience. The owners are missing by not showcasing a bounty of blooming plants. It could totally change the atmosphere.

Disappointed that only a few dishes available and food took a long time to come out. Staff seemed young and unsure what to do, obviously missing leadership and problem solving skills. ?chef away?
