Our group of 4 were very impressed with the service we received @ Manukau Lone Star last night.Angel was absolutely fantastic, she was friendly & efficient, remembering everyone's drinks & waiting patiently for us to decide what we wanted to eat.Definitely recommend - top service!

Been coming here for the longest time. They are always full. We are group of 5 adults and 4 children. Our table was booked for 6pm. Tonight wasnt that great, service wise. They didnt have enough cutlery on the table, they only serve us with one water jug and they brought out our nachos and garlic bread with no side plates. The kiddy meal, (mini hot dog) is a no. I recommend the prawns.A restaurant as busy as this should have more staff. It's not wheel chair friendly, you maybe able to get a baby buggy in but it's very tight. Parking is not a problem.

Super busy but our food came out pretty quickly and so did our drinks. Our waitress was lovely. The BB King Ribs were divine! We were all very happy with our food and drinks. Finished off with tea and dessert which also came out pretty quickly.

Food at lonestar is always delicious Especially their ribs full of flavour and large portions. Lone Star Manukau is a great branch. Very clean, lots of parking space and excellent location. The staff are very friendly and food is always on point.

On Sat we booked for lunch party of 5 kids & 6 adults it was my Mum's 82nd birthday. When we walked in the restaurant was filled with smoke & it wasn't very pleasant. The music was so loud we could hardly hear each other talking & the restaurant is most definitely not kids friendly. It took nearly 45mins before anyone approached us about drinks or took our orders. It did get busy admittedly but we had been in the restaurant from 1215. From the time our orders were taken we waited for well over an hour and a half for our meals, and our kids were starting to get really rattled, we were hungry. When I approached a waitress she so bluntly & rudely said I'm sorry we're getting smashed you'll have to wait bec we have to get out entrees first (these were from orders that came in after us) we could see from where we were seated. If that wasnt bad enough eventually when we got our orders, they missed 2 of our orders, when I approached a waitress she said so rudely you have all got your orders. I said excuse me there are 2 missing one being my mother's order. The waitress said oh I didn't know that , walked away. When I went to the kitchen & said something one of the chefs swore under their breath. A waitress said we'll get them out to you asap. By the time the 2 orders came out the rest of us had well & truly finished. I reallh felt sad for my Mum & sister. There were no apologies nothing for the delays. When we left to pay (& we paid alot of money) I said to the staff member serving us at the very least we shouldn't have to pay for Mum bec it's her birthday". I was duly put in my place & told nah that's not going to happen. So so rude terrible experience

Great place and great food. The manager was very polite and ensured everyone was looked after. We didn't get served though and had to find a waiter, but meals came really fast after ordering and couldn't fault the steak.Had no offers to order any other drinks or desert so left only after a mainsWill be back!

Almost full house when we arrived on a Black Saturday evening. Good we called to reserve seats earlier. Servers were kind and polite though food arrived a bit late, yet again we did have a good bite. Ribs our fav now, the venison also the rib eye were fantastic. Filled our hungry tummy indeed. Be back for more.

Delicious meal. For what I ordered perfectly. 6hrs later im still not hungry. Well worth the cost. Waiter was awesome too. Kids felts n colouring pencils weren't so run down she couldn't really colour. They could do with new ones. very warm inside. Doors could be opened but no dramas otherwise.

Food is overpriced here in my opinion. We spent $135 today on 2 adults, a 4YO & 1YO. We ordered 2 main meals, 1 kids meal, 1 garlic bread loaf & a jug of coke. I ordered a ribs meal & my partner got a pork roast, the best part of our meals was the garlic bread and the crackle of his pork. My ribs were so dry and chewy and my partners pork was dry too. The portion of food is good & decent, however i'd prefer a smaller meal if it meant the quality of food would be better. The atmosphere was nice and peaceful though & the service was all good just wish the food reflected the price.
