NZ Post Shop Dunedin South

I ended up dropping off some small Parcel Post packages this morning at NZ Post, South Dunedin. I handed about 10 or so packages over and the lady behind the counter straight away started interrogating me where I purchase my prepaid bags from. I told the lady that i had purchased about $70 from her about 2 weeks prior, she was adamant it wasn't her. I then ended up taking out my phone, logging into my internet banking and finding a $90 receipt from 3-weeks prior to show some of the pre-paid bags were purchased at another branch.I run 6 different succesful online stores and a top-seller Trademe store. I spend $1000's a year with both NZ Post and Courier Post. Today I was treated like a criminal. I am not sure if it was because of how I looked or how I dressed, but NZ Post South Dunedin really offended me today. ThinK I will be paying an extra 50 cents and using Pass The Parcel from now on.

Please update your hours on Google, they read as being open until 6pm. I've just showed up to post a parcel at 5.30pm to see the store closed and the hours listed on the door as 5pm.

A busy PO that creates queues then ignores them. 7 people were in line today and a lady pushed in to a counter and while 1 staff member told her she needed to get in the line another called her over and served her ahead of everyone else. This was disappointing and frustrating as it put out a considerable number of polite queuers and made our wait even longer.

This place used to have polite staff but was treated very rudely seconds after i walked in to get some forms for my new Id card on Feb 11. The blonde woman at the desk shouts at people to sign in. It easy to see why people including myself give fake details when they curtly get told to sign in cos if she asked politely then people would give their correct details

I was shocked at how the staff spoke to a young man in front of me today.They were rude, insulting and attempted to escalate his frustration at not having pay-wave as he had no other way to pay.His demeanour showed he felt shamed by them.The staff member insinuated that he should carry cash like everyone else but her tone was rude and condescending with a full shop. The Staff member beside her then began to gossip about it to the next customer in line.. these ladies need a real instruction on customer service professionalism and manners.The young man involved held his manners better than they did, I’m absolutely gutted at these grown Women!

I went in to pay a bill and was greeted with exceptionally rude and condescending behaviour from the staff, who made the whole interaction incredibly unpleasant. Based on the previous review, this seems to be the standard of service one can expect from this post shop... I feel sorry for locals who do not have transport to access postal services elsewhere in town.

Rude and condescending. You'd think that someone doing such a simple job would at least be friendly! But apparently I'm not worth their time.Don't waste your energy and money with these 'professionals'.

Nice enough experience. 10min wait in line with approx 8 others with 4 tills operating. One dedicated to kiwibank and the rest post, but any customer was interchangeable. Just beats inner city store with 15min wait and only 3 tills going. Glad I'm not a kiwibank customer any more.

Great place to use for courier post, local post, paying bills and banking, staff are always friendly and helpful
