Awesome service! I highly recommend airport pet services. We recently relocated from auckland to brisbane and took our pet cat Ash with us. Airport pets took such amazing care of Ash from the moment we made contact. There communication was always on point, very lovely and pleasant to talk with. So helpful, they talked me throught the whole process and reassure me of everything I was unsure of. Upon meeting them when dropping Ash off they were so lovely, welcoming and helpful. Had good laughs and just made me feel at home and comfortable to leave my baby with. Ash arrived safely in Australia, all paper work was done correctly and picking Ash up was really easy!. Ash is so happy and loves her new environment. Thank you airport pets for your amazing service and taking care of our fur baby Ash!

I can recommend Auckland Airport Pet Services as I recently had a large dog flown from Auckland to Christchurch with them. The service was second to none, great communication and my dog arrived as scheduled. Price was very reasonable, service was excellent, staff were fantastic. They even solved the problem of a cage as well. Highly recommend using this company.

Absolutely horrible company. We contracted them to fly our dog from NZ to Spain. They confirmed, and we paid the deposit. Then 3 weeks later they called and said that they can not get her on the flight and can offer no other solutions! We are relocating in less than 2 months now and they have simply dropped us.I went desperately crawling to Venture Pets for a solution and a week later they managed to get us the flight we originally booked with airport pets!I don't understand how this company can be so bad, or care so littleThey have an average of one star rating on Yelp. Wish had looked there first

Airport Pets arranged for our dog to fly from Auckland to Brisbane. This was a very stressful time for us as we were already in Brisbane and our dog still in NZ. However they were all amazing and very good at communicating at what was happening, everything went smoothly and our dog arrived safely in Brisbane. Thank you to the team for everything.

Moana and her team were absolutely fantastic, they answered all my questions and calmed me down when things got stressful. They ensured all relevant document was ready for the transportation. Great communication and everything they planned worked well. What could have been a very stressful time was turned into an absolute special moment of reunion. Thank you

Started off great! But it’s all a rusePaperwork from airport pet services specifically says “no bowls, brushes, or bags or liquids other than the water we give them”Air New Zealand then refused to take the dog because there was no water.Dog was then lost at Sydney airport for two hours.Then they invoice us saying we had to put a bowl in there for $50The worst thing is they take no responsibility and take their $2,000.Very little care or compassion for our dog.She ended up spending over 12 hours in a cage when it was only from Auckland to Sydney.Shame on you guys. Once you drop your pet off they’ll leave the dog in the cage even if your flight is delayed.

Unbelievable experience.Horrific Customer serviceAfter receiving an initial quote for a service from Auckland to the UK 3 weeks ago. It later became clear that the service could not be provided and the suggestions staff alter gave fell through to nothing too - I have since been left with little communication and a 3 week wait to be told to try somewhere else.If they don't want your custom don't give it 'em!Though..Judging by the sound of some of the reviews below, they aren't winning any awards for care of animals either so perhaps best it fell through.AVOID.

I just want to Thank Micheal at Airport pets. We moved from Auckland to Sydney. And needed to bring 4 dogs with us. But if you are not on the same flight as your fur babies it becomes a bit more complicated. BUT Micheal were great. He knows what he is doing. He kept me up to date with everything. As i have never done anything like this before he made sure to inform me what to do next. From getting there declarations done to arranging the Customs broker in Sydney. He even called me after his working hours to tell me how my dogs were doing and how the vet checks went as he new how stressed i was about my Chihuahuas being away from us and being in kennels as they have never been in kennels or on a plane before. He even texted me at 3:30 in the morning NZ time to tell me they were on there way and they are all good. So i just want to thank Micheal again for taking such good care of my babies and me. So if anybody needs to move pets to anywhere in the world make sure you deal with Micheal you wont be disappointed. A MILLION TIMES THANK YOU. The world needs more people like him !!!!!

One of the most stressful and horrible experiences with customser service I've ever had in New Zealand. Started off lovely. Moana was polite and easy to deal with. The entire booking was based around our dog getting on a flight around a similar date that our family was flying out. So.. before we booked our own airfares (3 months out) we had her check if our dog could get on Singapore Airlines. Once confirmed we purchased the airfares for our flights and paid a deposit to book our dog. Then came the paper work. We were then told they couldn't book his flight until we had a consignee confirmed (someone to pick him up at the airport overseas). As we had yet to secure one we said we were working on it. This unfortunately was a real challenge. Here's where the breakdown occurred. They never followed up with us over the next few weeks. Not once. We didn't realise our 'confirmed' date was lost until I rang to explain the delay and they said he could no longer get on a flight until 6 months away due to Singapore Airlines being booked up suddenly. You can imagine our horror. I became very stressed and annoyed they hadn't been in touch to secure the date. They said it was my fault as they needed a consignee, even though they later told me they could've just put down a temporary consignee to make the booking and then change the details later. When I got frustrated over the phone Moana simply hung up on me which they would later claim I was abusive. Bolloks. I never called them names but yes I was angry. They wouldn't refund my $1000 deposit for almost 2 weeks until I said I was coming into their office to get it. These people are awful and incompetent. I since found a company who got our dog to Europe safely around the same date we originally locked in with this company - without any stress. Do yourself a favour and stay well away from Airport Pet Services.
