A sweet cafe in Brooklyn. We made a special trip there as I had been told they sold award winning pies. Unfortunately there were no gf pies but my friend who had a normal one told me how delicious it was.

I had a Steak & Cheese pie and the pastry was amazing. Great filling with just the right amount of pepper. Nice to see an old school Kiwi pie shop thriving. Nice touch with the fee single serve packet also. Recommend

I came in too late, and they only had a few of their 16 varieties of meat pie left. But, as I walked in they brought out a tray of pies fresh from the oven, including a mince and cheese. I nabbed it!Awesome traditional menu of tender, flaky meat pies plus filled rolls, beef lasagne today, and pastries including lamingtons! All the coffees including my decaf mocha. But every second customer was getting a chocolate milk shake, so they must know something I don’t!All this, plus pre-COVID prices.Council restrooms around the corner. The counter is technically accessible from the footpath, with a ramp. Inaccessible is a lovely patio dining area.
