Wellington rafting

Highly recommend!I’ve had lots of fun doing rafting with these guys, they have everything to provide an outstanding experience. Great customer care.No need to bring anything, just enjoy without being worry of your belongings. In the river you will be provided with all necessary. So leave the hat, sunglasses, camera, food, water, etc. at home. They will take better pictures than you anyway!I can’t wait to do it again!

Was an amazing experience and made it even better having Hamish as our guide, would 100% recommend and will definitely be coming back when we’re all in NZ again. (Hamish also makes a killer roll) thanks again Hamish!!

Such an amazing rafting experience, Hamish is a great knowledgeable and fun guide. Absolutely stunning scenery and having a grade 3 + river so close to wellington is amazing! Such a hidden gem experience so much fun, we’re locals and have never seen this side of the river! We went in autumn and it was a rainy day but the gear provided kept us warm as, I cannot stress enough how beautiful the scenery was and how stoked I am to have seen it. So much fun and can’t wait to do it again. I couldn’t recommend Wellington rafting more!

Really really loved this adventure with my partner and Hamish. It was a very special day! Hamish the guide makes the day an experience in itself. With all his knowledge and passion about the river. Provided us with warm clothes, a yummy lunch whilst making me feel comfortable doing things out of my comfort zone!

Had the best time on the Wilderness rafting trip, the gorge is stunning felt like a scene straight outta Lord of the Rings and the rapids were so much fun!Hamish went above and beyond to accomodate the trip (legend) and we were in good hands the whole time thanks to him and Parker.If you're wondering if you should book, DO IT! 100% recommend!Thanks so much guys, already scheming the next trip :D

Thanks to Hamish and Troy for a great time. There were constant rapids the whole way, and the halfway hot drink and bite to eat was a great chance to take in the scenery. Besides being friendly and funny, making us laugh alot, crew were very knowledgeable about local flaura and fauna.Not my first whitewater rafting trip, but definitely the best.Looking forwards to trying other, differently graded tours with Wellington Rafting.Thanks again.

Absolutely amazing experience. Hamish the guide/host is a legend! Supplied us with all the gear we needed to keep warm. Even though we both ended up in the drink we stayed warm despite it being winter. Highly recommend everyone to go check this out!

Absolutely amazing time with the team from wellington rafting. It was such an awesome day out on the river. The guys were great and lots of laughs. So easy to deal with and very accommodating. Would highly recommend a day out with them

Had a work party and had the pleasure to have Hamish as our rafting guide through this little hidden gem in Upper Hutt.It's so beautiful you totally forget you are in the Hutt.Hamish is a great guy and knows so much about the park and all the birds and trees, so good to be with a guy who just loves what he does and you really feel that vibe!Had a great time with him and would definitely be coming back!

You all did an excellent job instructing, guiding and taking care of us on our rafting adventure.The class 3 river was challenging, exciting and fun. They ensured we remained safe and warm, providing wet suits, booties, fleece jackets, helmets and life jackets.Upon booking our adventure, Wellington Rafting inquired about our dietary needs to ensure the lunch they prepared and provided along the scenic river and rain forest was suitable. They some great photos of use paddling in the rapids too.It was an experience of a lifetime. We chose the perfect company for our first rafting experience. They taught us the skills to make it through safely and we had a spectacular time. Hamish's sense of humor made it even better.Transportation to the river launch was seamless. It was a short shuttle bus ride from the Wellington Cruise Port to the railway station, where we met our driver to take us to the river launch point. The train station had public restrooms. There was also a McDonalds and some stores across the street.Wellington Rafting set up the trip around our cruise schedule.Often the times in port are tight and make it difficult to schedule great excursions. That can create unnecessary stress while on holiday. They took all that stress away. We weren't worried about making it back to port on time at all.If you're looking for a great river rafting adventure in New Zealand, I highly recommend Wellington (New Zealand) Rafting to anyone visiting this beautiful country.
