4PM on a Saturday with a full forecourt of cars, go inside to pay and both petrol counters are closed and there is only one employee trying to make coffees and take petrol payments at the same time.We had a joke about it but I felt sorry for her as she said this seems to be the norm lately!

I live in Upper Hutt and I've been filling up my truck at BP Upper Hutt , at the end of my run.The last 2 weeks , at the end of my run, I arrive to refuel and pump 8 or 7. They are always switched off , so I spend 5 to 10 minutes trying to get an attendant to turn a pump on for service.Today was the same .I entered the store , a customer who was shopping for vaping products was making inquiries at the counter & was holding up another customer who was waiting for service.The customer inquiring about vaping products did not purchase any fuel and took another 5 minutes before making a decision on what vaping flavours and machine to purchase.When I was finally served , l asked the attendant why the pumps are turned off and if was because they didn't want me to park my truck their to refuel ?The attendant explained that her and her colleges didn't see me arrive or trying to get their attention . I replied how could she not , as I wear hi visibility vest and drive a class 4 curtain sider, that's loud, big and brightly painted. The attendant didn't respond.I asked the attendant if the Service Station would rather I take my business elsewhere ?The attendants reply was I know who you are ! "To which I replied

Using the BPMe app has been really excellent during covid - I'm able to fill up without interacting with anyone at all, and the pumps are regularly sanitized by the staff.

Mason who works there is a disappointment. (Glad he had his name tag on) The worst customer service we’ve experienced because of him. His colleagues even looked embarrassed by his VERY poor customer service.

A well run operation with all you would want from a fuel stop with free air and a vacuum. Add to this good coffee and huge selection of yellow food...

Mason stays humble and always welcomes the customers as they step into BP, I always keep coming back to fuel up because of him.

I have changed my ratings up to four stars from one since few months ago had an bad exp with this store, it’s great now, one concern now when the discount applying days it’s really chocks but some people were been really nasty by just taking their time to do their other stuffs. Would really appreciate if some one from the store keep an eye at least on a busy day..Cheers

Friendly staff. Always 2 for 1 deals on cold drinks. Driveways are a bit tricky in a lowered car. Great food options and good quality. Prices reflect
