Very happy with Van Lines. We happened to move house to Wakefield during the Pigeon Valley fires the day before the evacuation. Van Lines very kindly looked after our house contents until it was safe to return home a couple of days later. It made a difficult time so much easier and we greatly appreciated their support. Highly recommend

I am super happy with the experience the whole thing was an absolute breeze, our moving man uplifting from Nelson was a great guy and did a fantastic job, as did the team dropping everything off to us in Hamilton. Super organised and professional!I would recommend them to anyone, Dean from the Nelson branch was super helpful and tolerant of my million queries prior to moving, I honestly cannot thank everyone involved enough for making a stressful time so easy

Firstly, when the were packing my stuff, I came into a room to see one of the packers sitting on one of my boxes, I promptly said it was a fragile box and he got off, it was badly crushed. Secondly I had a box arrive with empty tape rolls and I’m missing a box, really disappointed with lack of response and resolving issue.

Professional, great customer service, we had our entire contents of a house shipped to the South Island. Dealt with Marc and Lee. Communication was always fantastic. Lee even re-packed our contents, and was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this company if you are moving and need to shift contents.

We got Number 1 NZ van lines to move our stuff from NZ to Spain. This is the worst service and packing I have ever seen in my life, NOTHING was packed properly at all! these photos are just some of many I can upload 100 more. They just open a box and throw in was ever is next to them. Tools thrown in with glassware tools in with photos custom build arcade machine completely wrecked. Petrol left in the power washer split over everything. Your not allowed to ship anything flammable!! They put the printer in the fridge?? not even wrapped! Over 5000 euros of our stuff was broken, things we cant replace wedding gifts and trophy's all smashed broken. Not to mention many things that just disappeared? Stay well away from No1 NZ Van Lines. Still to this day we have not revived any email apologizing for this!
