food never seems to be fresh, most of it looks like it had been sitting there for days or made a few days before. I had gotten an bento box pack with chicken karage , chicken sushi rolls and teriyaki and rice . The karage wasn’t crunchy anymore and tasted old and dry. On one sushi roll i had found the chicken was growing mould. I did not see this before when buying the sushi since it was hidden underneath the non mouldy chicken roll.

Completely wrong order after 9months waiting to give birth and enjoy sushi again... What waste of money.... Huge disappointment.... Won't be back

got sushi today , it was smoked salmon nigiri, it tasted absolutely disgusting , it had a fishy after taste, definitely not fresh, and the salmon was starting to go brown and green on one of the nigiris. Few weeks back I got teriyaki chicken, it made me have food poisoning. It was clearly very old. And had been sitting there for a very long time. Worst sushi in Tauranga.

This used to be one of our favourite places to get sushi but when we went there today the rice was hard and dry so it didn’t taste fresh. There was minimal fillings therefore not a lot of taste. No wasabi was with the sushi so we had to ask for it which she grimly gave us one packet from behind the counter and didn’t ask us if we wanted more than one. We asked for two large miso soups and received short black sized cups which leaked all over us. Looks like they are cutting corners and have lost us as customers.

Rude staff and poor services. We called to asked if they were open and if they had outdoor sitting. First person were absolutely confused. Second lady we had were extremely rude. She told us kitchen close at 7.30 so we better be hurry up. we drove for 30’ to get there at 7.15 just to get told that they closed kitchen at 7 and we aren’t allowed ro order. Extremely disappointed.

Fresh salmon is such bad quality and badly prepared! Stringy, tastes weird and all mushy in the sushi notnicely sliced as if the knife is blunt . Disappointed

Excellent meal tonight. Server was polite and helpful. Dumplings were amazing! I had the spicy pork udon and it was a large portion, fresh and tasty. Not too spicy either. Good selection at this place. Five star!

Very busy Japanese restaurant for a Monday night. Great selection of fresh ingredients, and the staff knew about gluten free ingredients and options. My wife got a katsui chicken on rice while I got a gf surimi poke bowl. Both looked amazing. The poke bowl tasted amazing.
