Viking Kayaks

The Reload is just about the best fishing platform there is for a kayak. I've had a few but none were in the Reload's league. It genuinely feels like anglers were at the heart of every design feature, from the angle of the rod holders, to the positioning of the hatches and of course the removable centre hatch. Everything feels very intuitive and natural round the boat and it's a dream to paddle in any conditions. top yak all round and a great company to deal with

The Viking Profish Reload is the perfect fishing machine for the Texas coast. It’s holds a lot of gear, is a joy to paddle, and it’s elegant well thought out design reminds me what kayak fishing is all about: simplicity! I don’t need a peddle drive, or motor, or a bunch of gadgets. Why have plastic boats become so complicated? It’s a kayak! They are meant to carried in the back of a truck and launched off the side of the road or on the beach. It’s not an engineering problem on a chalkboard.As for performance: this thing gets it done. Choppy conditions, wind, no problem. See a storm on the horizon and need to get in ASAP: the boat excels at this. This is my second reload, but it won’t be my last.

Bought a fully set-up Viking Reload from Vikings Kayaks. Excellent customer service and product. In my opinion, one of, if not the best fishing kayak on the market. It is clear in the design that the people at Viking Kayaks are actually fish from kayaks! Highly recommended.

Viking Kayaks are a Great New Zealand company that has made a name for themselves world wide. The makers of the best Kayaks for fishing from. Designed and made by Kayak Fishermen, and women. Both Grant and Karen are great to deal with. The team from Viking support the Kayak Fishing community by being associated with many of the Kayak Fishing contests here in New Zealand. Cant wait to order my new improved Reload.

After owning several fishing kayaks over the years, I purchased a Reload almost 2 years ago. Fantastic fishing platform. Extremely stable, lots of space and storage. Tackle pod makes set up a breeze. Also use it to haul rubbish for Ghost Diving NZ, I have put a crazy amount of rubbish on the kayak, from bags of random rubbish, to tyres, road cones, e-scooters, shopping trolleys and wheelie bins. Because the Reload is so stable its great for this work, although it gets pretty banged up and scratched in the process!!! Most clean-ups see around 5 tonnes of rubbish removed from the ocean, with half of that being transported by kayak. At times ive had over 100kgs of rubbish on, and its stable as.Great kayak, great kiwi company, customer service is top notch.

I consider myself a very fussy customer, very specific and attention to detail is a must. Especially with such an investment as a fishing kayak that would cost me a pretty penny. I proposed an idea for a colour I had seen, and whilst I could only describe it and provide a vague image, Grant willingly took on the challenge. I arrived at Viking HQ and my expectations were exceeded far and beyond. The Viking Profish Reload that greeted me was better than I had dreamed. With the base package sorted I was able to express my further requirements. With a quick squizz around the showroom I picked out some added extras. Grant got to work ASAP and fitted everything I picked out. The Viking Teams workmanship is second to none. Everything was perfect, running rig, rudder set up, sounder, seat upgrade the works. The viking reload is a kayak angling masterpiece I've mine nearly a year now and I enjoy every trip out on the water so comfortable for all day outings. I find the reload handles a bit of chop in the water and Its great peace of mind knowing I've a kayak that will get me back to shore. Thanks viking kayaks..
