Grace Removals Wellington

Original delivery date 9th February 2023 from Wellington to Hamilton missing sofa and dining table. Finely the goods have arrived 16th March 2023 with a lapse of one month. As saying goes better late than never.However the process I must say was very disappointing, leave alone the hassle and inconvenience it has caused. Very poor service.The necessary parties concerned, including the company higher ups to rectify the internal drawbacks that lead to this unprofessional and disorganised way of conduct, and bring about a better service. As it raises concern if to use your services or recommend else where. I definitely would not recommend Grace Removals.

The young man who came to pack up our things was very professional kind friendly and patient.He did a great job. We could have done with a few more boxes but he had no way of knowing how much we had. So we can forgive him for that. We goods were to be delivered on the !st October but di not arrive until later. That was not such a big deal. The lady in their office kept us informed as to where the goods were.The price was very reasonable. Yes I would recommend them.This is the third time that we have used you.Thank you Grace Removals.

Grace Removals were simply awesome. They phoned us the day before to confirm the time - excellent communication. The boys turned up on time and were friendly and polite and did a fantastic job super quickly with no damage and all with good humour. They were a pleasure to work with for the morning - we would thoroughly recommend them.Thanks guys - you made our move a breeze, would definitely use again.

We were delighted with the service we received from Grace Removals recently when we moved from Wellington to the Kapiti Coast. Right from the quote we received to the fantastic job the team who physically packed and moved us did, we've been highly impressed.We can honestly say that this was the smoothest move we have ever made. Grace turned what would normally be a stressful ordeal into a pleasant experience! A special shout out to the guys who were at our home packing and then moving our belongings. They were highly professional, friendly and competent. We can't recommend Grace Removals highly enough.

I was reassured by the seriousness and professionalism of Grace when she came to estimate the amount of stuff we have. Everything was pretty straightforward, and she answered every questions we've had. The movers did their job well, and were patient enough with us for the things that were not ready to pack yet. This was a smooth experience, and I'm very happy with how it went.

We had a very disappointing experience with Grace Removals. The service agreement promised wrapping furniture in high quality furniture blankets. This most definitely did not happen and our two couches were removed from the house by hoisting them over a balcony causing the fabric underneath to tear significantly leading to a crude attempt at hiding the tear. A computer chair was made totally inoperable after a heavy object was placed on top of it. A brand new washing machine had the lid broken. The list goes on but what was most disappointing was the removal guys not pointing this out at the time but leaving it for us to discover. An email to the company outlining what had taken place during the removal elicited no response. The service agreement notes their high-quality service. This most definitely was not.

We used Grace to move from Wellington to Queensland. We organised our belongings to be picked up early November 2021 and we were assured there would be no issue having everything ready for us at the end of January when we arrived in Australia. Upon arriving we called grace to arrange for delivery only to be told everything was still sitting in Wellington. We had no correspondence from them prior to our call and this was a theme. Over and over again we would be given a date only to call and be told the date had pushed out. Not once were we contacted by them the entire time. Shocking (non existent) communication and a terrible experience that cost me thousands extra due to the need to purchase additional goods we already had coming over just to make do. Our possessions were finally delivered mid May 2022, 6 months after pick up and 3.5 months after the promised date. Never again.

Updated!!A week ago, after writing the review Grace responded they will contact me but they haven'tI am very disappointed with Grace Removals.All the communications with them went well, we received a fair quote and they were able to accommodate the dates we needed. Until there everything went smooth and well. They removed our stuff from a storage in Welly and delivered to New Plymouth.The problem came when we unpacked our stuff. We found out that the TV was broken. It was perfectly packaged in the retail box that comes with inside protection and it is clear from the box that it is a TV!! When I found out that it was broken, I sent them an email and their answer was I should have included the insurance in the services contracted. It is obvious that the TV was not handled with care and they are not taking ownership of the damage. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend them.

Grace removals organised my move within a week. They came in took note of what was to be moved and gave me a fair quote,1K less than another mover. They packed everything professionally and moved it quickly and effeciently. I am very pleased with the result
