Hong Orthopaedic

A friend recently consulted with Dr. Hong for a chronic shoulder issue that has left them severely incapacitated. After several sessions over several months with physiotherapists, acupuncturist and a specialist who recommend we see Dr. Hong, we were hopeful he would assist in providing some comfort and/or a reasonable consult regarding this. After several attempts to secure an appointment with Dr. Hong, we finally got one after two weeks, only to be provided with a 15 min session. Given my friend's current condition (i.e. in need of urgent relief), we scheduled this anyway in an effort to get his expertise. However to our dismay, Dr. Hong was dismissive from the word 'go'. Our appointment lasted all of 5 mins with Dr. Hong shrugging his shoulders and claiming he cannot be of any help. He asked my friend if he was seeing any physiotherapist, when he confirmed with the affirmative, Dr. Hong suggested wryly If they can't help you - what are you expecting from me?" He continued to suggest "nobody can help you and hopefully the pain may reduce with age". He appeared rushed

Mr Thin Hong is a brilliant surgeon as he was the only specialist who recognised and diagnosed my rare bone disease. I found him to be very knowledgeable, kind and professional and is open to thinking outside the box as no one else had a clue. He also used my diagnosis as a case study at a international medical specialist conference.

I'm happy with both of my shoulder replacements.Dr. Hong has always been extreamly professional with me, Dr. Hong has superior orthopedic knowledge & Surgical experience.He is caring and understanding.I highly recommend.

I wouldn't waste my time. Dr Hong is rude and obnoxious. Made two excuses not to do anything to help my shoulder tear because of my weight. Took every ounce of strength not to blow steam his way. I'd recommend NOT to go to this guy. He clearly doesn't want to help people.

I've seen Dr. Hong in February 2022 for a shoulder injury. The receptionist Yvonne was really kind and very helpful. They organised for me to have an urgent MRI because they worried about the level of damage to my shoulder. The consultation was very pleasant and Dr. Hong kindly answered all my questions and I got some good advice. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hong. I went to see him, because so many other people recommended me to go and see him.
