Worst service ever. Very rude guy on reception desk. He will ask you to wear mask even if he is no wearing one. And telling me that you never know who will bring COVID in. That’s not it, after giving appointment at 1pm the guy left for break and telling me that it will take 1hour to do WOF. Seriously!!!

Terrible service, don't waste your time and money here. New to town and saw this place was close to home, never again. Not usually one to complain or leave bad reviews but the mechanic failed my WOF for some issues that were fair as it is an older car but then told me it also failed for other reasons which turned out to be his own incompetence as other mechanics in the past had no problem with at all. I booked a week in advance to get the other issues fixed and have the WOF retested. Arrived on time only to be told they cancelled my booking because they didn't have enough mechanics but never bothered to even send me a txt or ring me up despite having all the details they needed. When I talked to who seems to be the owner about the issues, he just brushed me off and walked away. Not only was their service pretty expensive, it was also terrible which was ironic because they have a sign at the front desk saying if we wanted good service, it wouldnt be cheap or fast.

***MID CITY MOTORS ROTORUA***My daughter took her car in for a WOF at Mid City Motors today… NEVER EVER AGAIN, would not recommend to anyone. They failed WOF because headlights need cleaning and back indicators bulbs faded… so got quote to rectify and was told $50, she booked it in the afternoon to have done. When she went in to collect car they charged her $103! When she questioned it (more than once) they wouldnt give her the keys until she paid the money. When she got home I looked at the car and the work hadnt even been done. I phoned them and asked to talk to the manager and explained what happened and was told to come in and get the $53 difference. We live out of town so we agreed my mother would come in and get it. The guy was rude and arrogant and said he did not say he would refund the money. My mother explained the lights hadnt even been cleaned and he laughed and told her to tell us to bring the car back in as he thinks they did them. $103 for what??? We had no joy from them and they fobbed us off and said case closed and hung up the phone. A place that treats young girls that way, and their grandmother is not a place to trust. They are liars, arrogant, and just straight out rude rip offs artists and totally unprofessional.

Worst service ever. Horrible staff swear and curse at you when they don’t like something over charge for services wherever they can and undercut when selling a vehicle to them. Do not go here!! The worst in Rotorua P.s guy is a total creep and has L.D.S (only 1 inch) I’ll let you figure that one out Dave ☺️

Awesome service! Always on time and friendly environment! Taking all my cars here for WOF's and any other checks and service.

BIGGEST RIPOFF in NZ.Asked for quote - work done without quote. Way overpriced. 2nd hand part apparently cost just as much as brand new. Charged 4 hours for a 1.5 hour job.

Fabulous job....safe on the road again...even gt a rocking chair..Thanku ...it b sooo comfortable..and soo polite, great customer service...

Not happy with these guys, completed work without quoting or confirming with us, waaaaay over charged compared to 4 other estimates on the same job.

Got my WOF done there, had some work done on car all for a reasonable price . Very happy with what they did. I would recommend these guys.
