As a volunteer visitor myself, I know the pleasure our clients get from either regular phone calls, or face-to-face chats, with these lovely folks, with perhaps, the occasional trip out for a cuppa !! If you have a little time to spare, then please do consider becoming a volunteer visitor with Age Concern. You will really enjoy the time sprnt with these folks.

We have to put our loved one into a rest home now thanks to Age Concern allowing her to continue to be abused and neglected by her daughter who is meant to be her caregiver. With just one visit this so called elder abuse response worker decided she was well and happy. Obviously a trainee without supervision or an incompetent advocate. No help, no support, no advocacy.

Very helpful with lots of advice brochures to read any concerns for the elderly accesories for the home ramp for wheel chair or shower rails ask lots of questions and find out what available for your loved ones
