Top Of The Lake Guiding
We've just returned from an overnight fishing & hunting trip in the Greenstone with Ethan. Absolutely fantastic couple of days away, everything we'd hoped for plus more. Ethan is a fantastic guide, takes the time to pre and during the trip to get to know the individuals he'll be guiding and tailors individual interactions to suit. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Flew over from Brisbane, Australia and spent 3 days hunting with Ethan near Queenstown during the Roar this year on one of his private blocks.Absolute legend of a bloke and very professional guide. Ethan has stacks of local knowledge and didn't disappoint finding a nice Fallow Buck and Red Stag amongst numerous animals to take over the 3 days.highly recommended.

Wow what an experience!! The time I spent with Ethan was an absolute pleasure! Ethan helped take my very first Deer. I'll never forget the time we spent together glassing the mountains and the awesome feeling of taking my first NZ Red Deer. Ethan's great knowledge/hospitality and guiding skills made it all come together he also tailed the hunt to suit my capabilities. I highly recommend Top Of The Lake Guiding and look forward to doing a Fellow hunt in 2025.Thanks again bud for an unforgettable trip....

What an absolutely amazing hunting experience. Ethan is full of knowledge and directed us super well, an incredible day out and got our first deers in the first shot! Learnt heaps in just afew hours, would definitely recommend as a first point of call for anyone that wants to get into hunting!

I recently had the pleasure of booking a hunting trip with Top of the Lake Guiding in New Zealand, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Our guide, Ethan, was top-notch and made sure that every aspect of the trip was taken care of. His knowledge of the local terrain and wildlife was impressive, and he went out of his way to ensure that we had the best hunting experience possible.During our trip, I was fortunate enough to shoot both a fallow buck and red stag, and the quality of the hunting experience was outstanding. I felt like I was able to really test my skills as a hunter. Additionally, the lodge accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed, providing a perfect respite after a long day in the field.Overall, I can't recommend Top of the Lake Guiding highly enough. If you're looking for an unforgettable hunting experience in New Zealand, this is definitely the company to book with. Thanks again to Ethan for an amazing trip!

It speaks volumes when the locals employ your service !!!!Great day out with Ethan, knowledgeable, competent and motivated are a few words to describe him.The experience is rich with epic back drops and the tutorials are delivered well with patience and encouragement.I personally gained a great deal from the fly fishing guiding.

Ethan is an absolute legend, his guided hunts are one of a kind. He is dedicated 100% to the hunt before and after the animal hits the ground. One of the most down to earth guys iv had the privilege to meet, very professional and always up for a good laugh. Ethan thankyou for an experience of a lifetime. Top bloke that everyone should get around.

What a fantastic day! Ethan tailored the day perfectly for our family. I wanted to learn fly fishing which Ethan patiently walked me through. My husband and two sons also fished. We went to a couple of fabulous locations. We caught trout! Then went to a stunning spot for lunch and swim. Ethan also introduced us to a chef in Glenorchy who agreed to cook my fish. Overall a very memorable day. Thoroughly recommend.

This is one of the best outdoor experiences ever. . Ethan is excellent and very keen to share his local knowledge . He is very conscious of all the members in his party and will make sure every one is looked after personally. The experience is not to be missed. And our hosts on the Station are just as incredible. making our stay in the South Von Hut a most enjoyable and delicious one. The food and wine was first class . i can highly recommend contacting Ethan to organise your trek into the wilderness hats off to a brilliant guide

Ethan created the best hunting experience I have had yet. I was lucky enough my family supported me and my younger brother to go out with Ethan for my 30th birthday and also my brothers first hunt. We were lucky enough to get an animal each and Ethan was very knowledgeable and educational in the process. I would highly recommend Ethan to any one that's keen to learn to gather thier own meat or even just to get out and about in the hills with some great company. Cheers mate! And Happy Birthday!
