I have used acupuncture many times over years with Sony and now Ann. I highly recommend Ann for her knowledge, care and treatment of my shoulder injury, this was causing me great discomfort and waking me regularly at night after a few seasons with her treatments I was sleeping with out waking and my range of motion was much better. I sincerely believe that acupuncture has many great benefits, it has helped my body over the years heal from injuries and improved my mental health. I had several treatments from an Osteopath for acute lower back pain with limited success .I was desperate to shake off the thing off and get moving again and was recommended to try Sonny's approach. I am not a fan of needles but the benefit of that initial visit was immediate. I have continued to see Sonny regularly as he has moved on trying to straighten out other aspects of my well being with a mixture of more gentle acupuncture and local manipulation. Sonny's treatments are so much more than acupuncture! I came to Sonny with a bouquet of symptoms and issues that I had been trying to resolve for over 10 years. I had my doubts about whether he would have the right skills to help me with my issues, after all, I had tried almost everything else. Had my first acupuncture experience with Ann. It all went very well and she has given me useful exercises to carry on with as I don't live in Auckland. Ann is very professional and helpful.

This causes me neck and back pain.In one case I had a splitting headache I couldn’t get rid of for days, even after constantly taking painkillers. After gradual worsening pain from back, hip to ankle that had developed over a period of years, I seriously needed help, but have no faith in Western practitioners. I was self administering 24/7 painkillers. My problem originated from years of high heels, carrying heavy weight, bad posture and working through pain by swallowing heavy duty drugs. Ann has been healing me from feet up, and after my first week my severe night muscle spasms had stopped completely. Basically, I wasn't even using my feet properly in a subconscious bid to escape pain. I've had to learn to walk properly all over again. I went to see Sonny for a medial mensicus tear in my left knee and chronic sciatica in my right hip. I had been having physiotherapy for both for about 3 months and had made some progress, but it was very slow. A work colleague recommended Sonny to me after he had treated her successfully for extreme chronic sciatic pain. Not knowing much about acupuncture, I was a little skeptical at first. However, it only took a couple of treatments before I started to feel a big improvement in both my kneed and hip. Sonny's methods include more than just acupuncture. He tailors his treatments to specific needs. I have been seeing Sonny now for about 6 weeks. I no longer have any pain in my knee and the sciatica is all but gone. During my time with Sonny he has been kind, respectful and professional. I would highly recommend him for any ailment - acute or chronic.

I visited the clinic after severe gut issues which lead to me waking up several times a night in pain, as well as other issues including back/neck pain and general health.
